Yeeeeeeeeees Darkstalkers!
Anonymous asked: So if the old animatronics are controlled by the 5 kids that died. Who would be inside the new cast? No one. It's stated that the new cast has new safety settings that allow it to recognize criminals. What if why their trying to kill you is that, your the bad guy? (( sorry if you already got this one...))
I think they recognize you as an actual human rather than a criminal
from what I can get from the trailer, is that if you wear the mask you can prevent yourself from getting caught by the old animatronics ( since you put the mask on when bonnie was in the room in the trailer ). -they will think you’re another animatronic and leave you alone…
…but, for the NEW ones, it’s completely opposite. Since the old animatronics are broken down and definitely kept in the backroom, if the new ones see you they’ll think that you’re an old animatronic and try to throw you into the backroom with them ( hence the old ones killing you )
It’s better worded here:
Originally posted by Chaz: I’m just taking a stab in the dark here, but the Greenlight page mentions that the new animatronics have facial recognition features. Couple this with the fact that the old animatronics are, well, old and decaying, and are meant to be kept in the back where they won’t be seen, and I think it’s gonna be a case of figuring out who’s going to come to your office next.
The old animatronics still see you as an endoskeleton without a suit, but if you wear the Freddy mask, they’ll think you’re an animatronic and leave you alone.
The new animatronics, having facial recognition, will likely recognise you as human and leave you be, but if you wear the Freddy Mask, they’ll think you’re an old animatronic, and since the old animatronics aren’t meant to be out and about, they’ll react accordingly.
OMG! If this is all true this is going to be a really interesting way to play. You’ll have to know when to use the mask, and when not to use the mask, and it won’t be a matter of slamming the doors in time (since there are no doors), but knowing when to “suit up,” if you will, and to not suit up. Like, “Hey old Bonnie, I’m a bear,” and, “Hey new Bonnie, I’m a human.”
I wonder how the animatronics are going to interact with each other, though. Like if the old ones are supposed to be in the back, wouldn’t the news one try to put them back? Like if they cross paths, do they interact with one another?

Did someone say Five Nights at Freddy’s sequel?
brichibi asked: ... shit I didn't think of that until I read your tags but... crap are there 8 animatronics trying to get you now?!
I’m just guessing at this point! Maybe it’s just the beaten down animations that are after you. Then again, Foxy was kinda an extra character introduced into the second night so…who knows? As far as the trailer goes:
The new models seem to be immobile and it’s only the wrecked models that are on the prowl.
Not like that makes things even better. I wouldn’t put it past the creator though. Maybe the newer models will eventually replace the old ones in some later level. Plus, what’s with the red button next to the camera button? That wasn’t there in earlier cut scenes.
