PACIFIC RIM! *fangirl happy sigh* Such a good movie, so incredible. And Charlie acts EXACTLY THE SAME except without all of the swearing, lol. But I saw Pacific Rim first and was kind of like, “Who the hell is this crazy guy he’s kinda adorable,” then I watched Always Sunny in Philadelphia and… now I’m on season 7. It’s just… god it’s so wrong but I can’t look away.
I’m watching Price is Right too ^^;;;

To be honest it was just one! Maybe two? But the one was just really persistent, but omg I watched this whole thing unfold on their tumblr and some of my followers were really, really persistent right back at the hater, and just… as if THAT wasn’t enough, now I keep getting messages from amazing people *__*
So here’s a not so secret secret. I wanted to put myself out there more for a couple of different reasons. I love cosplaying, I really do. I think the transformation is amazing. I have friends who I see out of costume who get in costume and are just… my lord. I just love it! But I also wanted to get my wifey out there, who does such, such good work on the costumes. And she’s so amazing, she just doesn’t discriminate against who she makes the costume for. I guess this is a thing that happens? We have a good friend who is transitioning from male to female, who came to her to get a dress made, because the original commissioner dropped out because she’s trans. That’s just awful, to me. My wifey made our friend that dress and it was the first dress she had after going through the actual transition process, and she stood their and cried, and just… that’s the magic of cosplay, really :)
I was talking to my wifey like, “you have no idea how big of a deal this is.” I mean, I’m a fucking size 26/28, and she’s like, “Meh here’s a fucking Princess Peach dress. Here’s Tiana. Here’s Belle. You want to do Neo Queen Serenity? Let’s go look at fabric.” And I’ll admit, I’m scared for like two seconds. Like, “Is this going to look good on me? This character is skinny, and white, is this going to work?” And she’s like, “You can make it work for you. I’ll make it work, I’m going to make it look good.” And just… THAT’S IMPORTANT! So I jokingly said, “I’m gonna make you famous and be a plus sized cosplayer person!”
I didn’t expect this much of a response though. I also didn’t realize how inspiring this is to people. I knew that the bullies existed, but then suddenly people were like, “This is why I’m scared to cosplay,” and… that is not o.k. At all. Cosplay is fun, you shouldn’t be scared, but I see the terrible things people say and its ugly and hurtful. And my little troll was so persistent that they started attacking the people defending me, like not just me, but them too. Just everyone, and just… those people? Aren’t willing to change their minds. But I can, at least, be positive and encourage someone to, at least, not be as scared to cosplay :)
My wifey is the wonderful snowtigra, by the way, and if you think I’m encouraging, just have a conversation with her <3 She’s amazing.

2. Drunken story time: Oh lord. So I’ve only been hungover once, and I did it in an extremely dorky way. It was after finals were over in college so I made sure I had no school work to do. I got hungover with my roommate at a bar on campus, then when I got home I drunkenly messages my wifey (then long distance girlfriend) on instant messenger. I remember just messenger her that I was so drunk, then I remember my roommate telling me to just throw up and get it over with. And I threw up in the bathroom and went to bed.
I apologized so hard to my wifey the next day. She thought it was hilarious.
5. Favorite TV show: Urm… this is always subject to change, but I tend to be really, really late in discovering things because it takes me forever to watch something. Currently I’m obsessed with 30 Rock, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Honestly, a show I’ve been watching FOREVER is “Price is Right,” like seriously, I yell at contestants, it’s a problem.
22. Lyrics to your favorite song: Again, always subject to change. Currently I… oh god, so I’ve been re-obsessing with Sonic the Hedgehog lately and have been listening to the game soundtracks. Like a lot. I mean I don’t really like the later games but I like the songs, even if they’re cheesy sometimes, you know, “Everybody Super Sonic Racing~” and just… yeah…
