5. An anime I can’t stand.
I cannot get into One Piece. And I’ve tried. Nothing against people who like it, but it’s just not my thing. Honestly, same with Yugioh. I looooove YGO abridged, but the actual show? I just can’t do it. And I have friends who love it, but I just… it’s not for me.
One series I remember only making it through a few episodes before stopping is Kannazuki no Miko. I mean… it was too much. Yuri priestesses, mecha, magical girl, and at one point I think one of them gets raped with a flute? Just… no.
7. An anime I never finished.
The ones listed above. Also, I’ll probably never finish Naruto, because I’m just not into it anymore. It dragged on too long for me :(
11. Shonen or shojo?
Whatever I’m in the mood for. Some days it’s Attack on Titan, other times its Madoka, it depends :)
17. Yaoi or yuri?
HA! Both. Though yaoi seems to cater more to me when I want something brainless and pretty. The yuri I like is always about a couple with some major, major plot (Utena and Anthy, Uranus and Neptune, Madoka and Homura, ect.) I never have found any brainless “omg this is pretty” canon yuri, you know, just super hot smutty sex? Like a manga I can just grab and drool over? Back when I was looking, it was either really really cute, or in a hentai and I had like three minutes before a guy came in, or the girl suddenly had a penis, or later the girl would end up with a man or just… yeah. Let’s not talk about the lovely covers with two ladies and me getting happy then watching it like, “Oh son of a bitch! They don’t even talk they were just eye candy damnit!”
20. Sub or dub?
I don’t have a preference. This isn’t really the days of “dur all of the dubs are terrible,” there are studios that do a damn good job.
22. Manga or anime?
I enjoy both :) Though with a lot of series “the book is better.” For example, Black Butler. There is sooooooooo much extra in the manga, new arcs and characters and just… wow. I think, technically, only like… 8 episodes from the anime are canon? Like the first 6, then the arc with Prince Soma? But the manga has the wonderfully heartbreaking Circus Arc, the murder mystery, the boat, the school, just… there’s more Undertaker, more Knox, more everyone. And new characters like Snake and… just all stuff that never got into the anime :(
