Dory: Something someone has told you that you can’t forget (two good and one bad).
1. When I got the email saying that my book was going to be published. So far I’ve gotten four emails like this, one for a short story, three for books. It never gets old :)
2. Whenever someone compliments my cosplay, one instance I remember is Little Kuriboh saying that I made a great Tiana. Or when people say that my cosplay inspires them. Also, compliments on my crafts, that is also fantastic.
3. Being told that my brother died (bad).
4. Bonus goods: that my wifey wanted to be more than friends, that my mom didn’t care I was with her, that my dad was sorry for the fight we had about it, that her dad introduced me as her partner, and gay marriage being legal in our state. Oh, and that we were getting the house we wanted. And, last but not least, being told I was fired from GameStop. Best.

Buzz: Favorite fantasy world?
Hmmmm… honestly? The one my partner and I came up with for “Hunters: Seeking the Storyteller.” There’s different parts to the demon world, some that are extremely similar to our own world and others that are vastly different. I like that a lot of the demons in our story are ridiculously similar to humans, they just have special abilities, and the humans in the book have to come to terms with it. They also have to come to terms with humans not always being that great, as the book series continues. There’s a book where the man bad guy is human, and he’s fucking with demons, so it’s not a clear cut definition of demons = bad. There’s good demons and bad demons, just like humans. There’s also ones that are in between and just, you know, do what they can to survive. Again, just like humans. And I like that.

Writing, crafting, and cosplaying :) So I’m living the dream, the trick is to make it into a career that I can live comfortably with ^^

Writing. Drawing. Cartoons. Video games. Dressing up in costume. Animals. I’m still a kid at heart and am essentially doing all the things I did as a kid, but professionally, somehow ^^
Cruella: Something that you really want but aren’t allowed to have.
The answer would’ve been gay marriage months ago but it’s actually legal in Minnesota now! I do want it to be legal throughout the entire country though, but I think there’s a possibility. Everything else I want isn’t something I can’t have, but simply something I’m working up to. Being able to write/cosplay/craft for a living, go on awesome vacations, having my Mortal Kombat wedding, that’s all stuff that’s in progress :)
Eric: Have you ever helped a stranger? What happened?
I guess, lately, I’ve been inspiring people to cosplay even if they’re plus sized or black or whatever, and that’s awesome to me. I hope to be able to keep doing that :) I want to be an encouraging person!
