All right. To celebrate the huge amount of followers I’ve gotten in the span of a few days, I’m going to confess something. It has come to my attention, thanks to one of my aunts sharing the picture on my 30th birthday a few weeks ago, that I’ve been cosplaying since the 80s. This is me as She-ra. I remember doing this for Halloween, but I also seem to remember not wanting to take the costume off. I think I may have worn it outside of Halloween at times. I also remember being Storm from X-Men, and my dad actually helped make the costume ^^
So this is me cosplaying before I knew what cosplay was. Guess I was sort of meant to do this huh? Did cosplay even exist in the U.S. in the 80s?
Friendly reminder that you’re allowed to like a thing without knowing every single fact about the thing
You’re allowed to like a movie without having to know every crew member’s name
You’re allowed to like a book without having to memorize every page
You’re allowed to like a video game without having to know all the Easter eggs and cheat codes
You’re allowed to like things and not be an expert on things
Liking things isn’t supposed to be stressful

oh my god one of the little kids at the camp i work at made a game called wreck it ralph tag
basically theres one wreck it ralph whos it and when they tag someone they shout ‘IM GONNA WRECK IT’ and the person who got tagged has to crumble like a building and sit and wait for a fix it felix (which is who ever isnt either it or crumbled) to come along and tap them ten times with their hammer to fix them

I would play this at a con. I don’t care if I’m 30 I would totally do it!
