Oh man Sukuna pony is soooo cute, I’m gonna cuddle it and-

Partner:  Sukuna pony just sold.

Me:  O.K SERIOUSLY WTF YOU JUST POSTED IT LIKE TEN MINUTES AGO!!!

Anonymous asked: A, P, U and I?

A:  Who do you like and why?  *giggle**blush*  Kanji and Naoto!  Just kidding, well, I mean I do like them they’re my favorite pairing and all, but yeah, I like my partner snowtigra I’m not going to go into reasons, because then tumblr will be clogged up, but 11 years and still like AND love her as much as I did in the beginning.  Well no, that’s a lie, I love her more now.

O.K.  One reason.  Because she tries for me and believes in me.  This writing and getting published dream isn’t easy, but she’s really patient and believes in me.  I have my sad days about it and she’ll just bring home a plant with a card that says “You don’t suck,” or bring home chicken nuggets, and just… yeah.  The end of last year was pretty dreadful, with no job and constant rejections and BOTH of our cats had to be put down, so I was pretty miserable, but she just kept going, you know?

Ugh sappy sap sap *embarrassed sigh*

P.  What about “love at first sight?”  Why or why not?  I’m not too sure.  I lean towards “no” because I think you need to get to know a person before you can say you “love” them.  It’s like the whole “not having sex until marriage” or “not living together until marriage” stuff.  Like… I’m sorry, but no, you need to know a person, everything about them, before you can commit.  People have different quirks about them.  Like me and my partner.  I have pajama days, you know, where I just stay in my pjs all day if I don’t have to go anywhere.  That was new to her and she would like, get dressed, and I was like, “… what are you doing?”  I mean it seems small, right?  But I think you need to know things about your significant other.  I mean, I eat sugary cereal, she doesn’t.  I watch T.V. more than she does.  She likes musicals and I don’t.  I play more video games than she does.  She watches more anime than me.  Hell, I remember when we first started dating, Valentine’s Day wasn’t a big deal to her but it was HUGE for me.  I grew up with a dad that always got me something, no matter if I was dating someone or not, so I was all, “box of chocolate and flowers” and she was all, “meh.”  It all seems small, but can you imagine just BAM getting married to someone then all these small things come out that you had no idea about?  It would be like, having a stranger in your house.  I believe in seeing a person and being interested in them, but love?  That’s so deep, and that takes time.

U.  Are you currently in a relationship?  If yes, how long?  If no, how long have you been single?  Yep, in a relationship.  11 years  :)  And since this is for Valentine’s Day I’ll reveal how we met, because it’s truly the dorkiest meeting ever and breaks all sorts of relationship stereotypes of what doesn’t work.  Not only did we meet online (dum dum dummmm) and not only were we long distance throughout my entire college career (gasp!), we met on a Gundam Wing yaoi mailing list.  Not even kidding.  It was a Heero and Duo mailing list.  We wrote a bad Resident Evil/Gundam Wing crossover where the Gundam Wing boys had to fight zombies in space.

I.  What’s the most important part of a relationship?  Already answered this one  :)

raipelelle asked: D, I, K :)

D:  Have you ever changed for someone, if yes, how?  The only answer that comes to mind which makes me a bit sad, looking back, is that I lost weight to fit into a dress for a wedding.  The sad part?  I was nine.  I was nine and my dad was getting remarried, and my future stepmother wanted me to lose weight to fit into my flower girl dress.  She had me doing these crazy weird exercises, like running up a step, then down a step, then up again and down again.

I:  What’s the most important part of a relationship? There are a bunch of important parts, it’s hard to pick one because to me everything is important.  I’ll pick one thing that I really love about the relationship with my partner, and it’s that we’re friends.  I mean the kissing and stuff is great, yeah, but we also like being around each other, we like hanging out together, we have these ridiculous date nights where we can sit and watch anime, or movies, or she’ll watch me play video games, and just… that’s really important.  Love is important, but liking a person is important too.

K.  When you are dating somebody do you believe in going on “breaks?”  “Breaks” as in “breaking up for a little while?”  No.  BUT!  I do think it’s important to have space.  I love my partner to death, but we don’t spend every second of the day together.  Even now, she’s in the basement sewing and I’m upstairs painting.  It’s distracting to be around someone all the time, we don’t get as much done when we’re in the same room (we try and fool ourselves to think that we can craft in the same space, but we get much more done if we’re in different spots in the house).

Because Valentine's Day is coming up soon
