Hey remember that one time I didn’t give a fuck what assholes thought and I decided to wear whatever the fuck I want because I’m pretty damn cute? Cuz I sure do.
During the continuation of the match, Sousuke reminisces about the old days with his conversation with Rin. Because of this, Rin gets worried about Sousuke’s blank expression and tries to ask why but…
On the other hand, the Iwatobi Swim Club readies themselves for the relay and tries to sway the thoughts of Haruka. The time for the match is finally here!
I loved this movie so much as a kid! And you know what? It was on Netflix like a year ago and I watched it again and it was actually pretty good still!
Every fandom has its downside. People are a part of a fandom and some people just don’t know how to play nice and ABSOLUTELY MUST BE RIGHT GODDAMNIT! Every fandom I’ve been in ever has always had some sort of drama.
“Who’s on top” wars (thanks SasuNaru fandom for introducing me to that, seriously, destructive debates on whether or not Sasuke was on top or Naruto was on top. We all shipped the two of them together but the drama came from who topped who).
“Which pairing is best” wars (all, extra bonus if the same character is involved multiple times: MakoHaru versus RinHaru).
“This character is/isn’t gay” wars (all, especially Persona 4 and Kanji).
“This is canon and here’s why” debates (all).
“This character is (insert label here) and here’s why” debates (all).
“How could you like this character when they’ve done this and this and this” debates (all, a good example is Adachi from Persona 4).
“This female character is a bitch and here’s why” debates (Gundam Wing, Naruto, any lady who interrupts the yaoi, ect., even if she isn’t in the way at all and the yaoi isn’t canon)
“This character looks like (this) stop making him/her look like (that),” debates (pick a fandom, really, and change the character in some way — genderbent, racebent, ect. Or, in Persona 4’s case, the trans Naoto debates)
It goes on and on and on, but it’s important to remember the good in fandom, which is when you meet those awesome people who you just click with. Not to mention the creativity in fandom (fics, art, vids, cosplay, ect.) There’s good in fandom, trust me :)
I still remember the good, and I’ll always be thankful for those small but meaningful moments where people aren’t acting like spoiled little brats. I think I’m overly bitter with this fandom more than others because of how much I love the games. I’m just tired, oh so tired. Three years of seeing this thing grow from lovable to unbearable breaks you.
I’m hiding a lot more resentment than I’m showing or ever will show. I will refrain myself from doing anything unforgivable, although my patience is easily triggered. The less I involve myself the better. I don’t want to relive some bad experiences.
I know this feel. This was me and Naruto. I loved that fandom so much. I wrote so much fic for it, long fic, chapters and chapters, fic challenges and everything. I mean hell, my first book started from an unfinished Naruto fanfic. That fandom was my baby. Gundam Wing was my first, and Yu Yu Hakusho the second, but I invested SO MUCH TIME in Naruto.
But the drama, just, omg. I will never forget the SasuNaru vs NaruSasu war on livejournal, just… so many comments, SO MANY, you’d think they were debating the presidential election. So much hatred, and anger, over WHO WAS ON TOP! Then there was the Sakura hate, the, “OMG SHE’S IN THE WAY,” even after she had a part where she said she wanted to help bring Sasuke back for Naruto’s sake. Just… so much, so much, and I felt so bad, but then I remembered all the good. Without that fandom, I wouldn’t have started my book, or hell, the book I have with my partner. It all started with fandom and random roleplaying. I’ve also made some good friends through that fandom, who I still talk to even if I’m not a part of it anymore (which isn’t because the drama drove me away, I just got tired of reading the manga).
So yeah it sucks, but just hold onto the things that made you love the fandom in the first place. That’s never going to go away. The characters are still awesome, the plot is still great, there’s so much to love about Persona 4 :)
You’re stronger than me. Between the milking of P4, the bullshit direction its story has been going, and the moronic fandom, I’ve pretty much forgotten why I loved the series in the first place.
I’m so tired of it all that I’ve seriously been considering canceling my pre-orders.
Not looking for an argument here, but all of that is easily explained:
-The milking is Atlus’s way of raking up money so they can make more games without having to rely on a third party. Persona 4 is the one game that has reached people globally, so it’s their most secure way of income. They aren’t doing it to be greedy, it’s all for the growth of their company after getting their asses sued and bought off. The world of gaming economics is pretty expensive.
-The story isn’t going in any direction that doesn’t tie in to its original lore. I understand you don’t like certain characters or concepts, but if you were to analyse them without listening to fanon, you will be able to see that. I can’t go much into it because of spoilers, but Nenilein has made several posts that analyse several things, even to the existence of Marie. It’s just a matter of being unbiased and paying attention.
-The fandom is just dumb for the most part. No other point to it than that. It doesn’t mean they must define something though. Persona 4 will be what it is regardless of all the crap the fandumb spews. That’s why I’m not gonna bother with their shit anymore.

Also got Sora and Riku <3
Who kills the bugs: Sora, bless his heart, really wants to. Riku makes it look so easy. See a bug? Squish. The end. But Sora ends up staring down the bug, reaching towards it with his shoe, and then… nothing, because it moves or, something, “Gyah they’re so gross, Riku,” he whines. And Riku just smiles and gets rid of it.
Who hogs the sheets: Riku is so tall that he just can’t help it.
Who hates mornings: Riku. Oh man, he hates morning, and he can’t understand how Sora is smiling SO MUCH THAT EARLY.
Who’s cranky before they had their coffee: Riku. Sora doesn’t need coffee. Dear lord do NOT give that boy coffee.
Who’s doesn’t like their mother in law: Neither one has parents, the closest female figure they have is Kairi and they both love her.
Who drives: I would say Riku but Sora legit had a Gummi Ship so… nope, still Riku, don’t trust Sora with vehicles.
Who gets horny in awkward public places: Sora. And horny Sora means whiny, needy Sora, and tugging on Riku’s arm, and hoping that the look in his eyes is enough, but Riku plays dumb until Sora finally hisses, “Behind the tree. Now.” And, of course, “I hate that you take so long to figure it out.”
Who had a scene phase: Riku, it was called Organization XIII.
Who wore braces: Sora, and he loved them, he thought they made his teeth colorful and fun.
Who got bullied: Neither. Sora was too lovable and Riku was too cool.
Who collects ceramic elephants: Sora. He’s been on many quests he collects all of the things, never wants to sell them back, he wants to keep them all (much to Riku’s annoyance, because seriously, who needs 99 potions when they have a healer on the team?)
This is the story of a geeky anime/gaming gal by the name of Chibi. Please fasten your seat belts and prepare for... some sort of ride? Oh! I love to write, and I also love doing crafty things. I go to conventions with my partner and sell woodburned things, clocks, mirrors, and more! So expect to see those on here too :)
