I swear this entire episode was Papa Haru and Mama Mako watching their baby boy Nagisa going through a tough time, then boyfriend Rei comes in to set Nagisa straight.
I swear Rin is the very definition of character development.
For the first season of Free! it was interesting to watch because I was watching Attack on Titan at the same time.
This time it’s interesting because I’m watching Love Stage at the same time, whose main character is voiced by Nagisa, and said main character’s mother’s name is Nagisa. Then the personal assistant whose been in the main character’s life since childhood is named Rei and is voice by Rei.
So literally I watch Free and hear Rei and Nagisa. Then I watch Love Stage and hear Rei and Nagisa.
A few months back, we discovered that our cat Spaghetti had been born with a defect that was causing his organs to move into his heart sac, causing him to throw up all his food and making it impossible to live a healthy life.
With the help of many, many donations from fans and friends, we were able to afford the surgery he needed to try and fix the problem. He had three very full and happy months following the procedure and we can only thank everyone that contributed to giving him some extra time on this earth.
Unfortunately, this past week, we learned that his stomach had begone shifting into where his small intestine began and it caused him to throw up even more than before and it became impossible for him to eat. We were told by the doctors that any attempt to fix this complication would cost even more than the previous surgery and that it wouldn’t even guarantee him a healthy life - only the chance at one.
The last thing we would want is for Spaghetti to continue suffering, so with a heavy heart, we asked that the doctors put him to sleep yesterday.
I’ll always remember him as my friend - as my son - as an important part of my family. I’ll remember him comforting me in my worst moments, and waking up to his face every single morning as if he’d been waiting for me.
I’ll wait for you now, old friend. Every single day.
I miss and love you so much.

It’s still kind of surprising to me that we’re actually friends, but the both of them are so kind and supportive of what I do, I’m so happy that I know then and I hate to see this happen.
This is the season of everyone noticing how sexy Rin is.

And Haru looks so used to it, like, he’s used to being Mako’s maraca – shake shake shake. Maybe it’s part of the Makoto husbandboyfriendlover friendship contract: is a big teddie bear, must be allowed to shake like maracas.
One time my wifey shared my Wonder Woman dress on Lynda Carter’s Facebook (yesterday, it was JUST YESTERDAY) and Lynda Carter responded and said she loved it.
God I bet.. I bet Sam fucking LOVES having guests. So he actually made a fucking massive breakfast for them, and he doesn’t know what these guys eat - Natasha’s tiny, so Sam makes a fruit salad, but then, maybe Steve (who’s huge) likes fruit salad too, so he ends up with a punchbowl full of fruit. But then also waffles and pancakes, and eggs… though who knows how these people eat their eggs? Sam likes scrambled, but he boils some just in case, and sets up a frying pan in case either of them wants fried. Better put some water on to boil in case someone wants poached…. While he has the eggs out, might as well make french toast. But then actually, Natasha’s european, right? They like that weird-ass continental breakfast shit, so he rolls up some little bits of ham and cheese, which looks weird without croissants and muffins and whatnot so he nips out to get some. And some juice. And some tea. And some hair straighteners.
And so Natasha eats a few bits of everything, but Steve… well Steve grew up during a time where you did not waste food - clearing your plate is ingrained in him, so. Yeah, he did have a big breakfast. He had all the breakfast.
People look down on McDonald’s employees but fail to realize that if all these folks left McDonald’s and pursued “better careers” your ass wouldn’t be able to get a McDouble with an Oreo McFlurry at 3am.
