This is me. This is my body. This is my insecurities.
I am five foot and five inches tall, I weigh 177lbs, and this took a lot of balls to post.
I’m kinda chubby, I have a muffin top, I’m riddled in stretch marks, I have a bit of a double chin, acne on my chest, and I have rolls in weird spots on my body.
This doesn’t make me any less of a person.
Every time I go to family gatherings, all I hear is “Oh, you’ve put on so much weight!” Or “Wow, you need to do something about those stretch marks!”
Like, how could you even say that to someone?
Let me tell you a thing.
It’s a vicious fucking cycle.
You gain/lose weight/have more breakouts than usual, family points it out, you get sad, it gets worse.
If someone has put on some weight, DONT MENTION IT.
If someone looks a little too thin, DONT MENTION IT.
If someone has body hair in places you’re not used to seeing it, DONT MENTION IT.
If someone has acne, DONT MENTION IT.
If someone has stretch marks, DONT MENTION IT.
If someone has crooked teeth, DONT MENTION IT.
TRUST ME. WE ARE ALL FULLY FUCKING AWARE OF OUR FLAWS.
So instead of calling them out on something “wrong” with their body and completely shredding any ounce of confidence they had managed to muster up that day, just find something nice about the person and compliment them.
You do so much more good saying “that’s a cute dress” than saying “you need to lose/gain a little weight.”
Just try it sometime. You might actually sleep better at night.

They didn’t expressly state that, but it seems like Narukami is super maxed out in his characteristics! He’s saying all the lines you only get to say the second time around - and he was obviously BEYOND POWERFUL during that first fight!!
And given the way they’re glossing over details and introductions, and how he’s so mischievously smiley all the time, I’d say it’s definitely supposed to be the second time around!
I see, gotcha (I never actually started a second playthrough). That’s kind of interesting then because I’m assuming Marie would be a curve ball because its not the same path all over again, not to mention if they do a certain someone’s social link that’s only in Golden. It would really be interesting if Yu is aware that he’s going through the same thing all over again, so when he reaches certain points he just looks exhausted and upset because, “Do I have to go through this again?” You know, like Nanako in the hospital, things like that.
I also just realized if it does the Golden ending we get time jump characters *__*

Yeah, basically this exactly! I’m stressing to people that this is a SEQUEL, not a remake! You can’t really watch this one without having watched the first or played the game - this is a New Game+, so you need to have an understanding of the first “playthrough”.
That being said, despite the fact that this is not an entry-level show, I’m very excited they made it NG+! It gives the original fans something new to experience, and maybe it will make new people more curious to try out the game.
SO HAPPY to have seen all the cast in the opening bit! Especially mah bby Kanji. (He’s at least a little bit better looking in this anime? But man, nothing beats how cute he is in the game.)
The budget is piss-poor again, but as linefaced said, I’m just happy to have more P4, :3
So it IS a New Game+? I wasn’t sure, but that makes a lot of sense. I was watching it like, “Whoooooa whut?” But now that that tidbit of information is confirmed, then… cool. I just want more Kanji and Naoto whut? Naw I want the others too but SKI TRIP HIJINKS!
