A good wifey is one who lets you listen to your random video game music while you both craft in the basement. Like I know she doesn’t know the Contra Jungle theme, but the important thing is she lets me jam to it. That’s true love <3
One of the saddest scenes ever in Naruto if you ask me.
Moments like this is what kept me invested in the series. I miss moments like this.
It’s amazing what we just have lying around the house. Oh yeah here’s a wig, some suspenders, a hat, just… yep, have those things randomly.

Oh hey, I know this girl, she’s a sweetheart :)
- 4. what are you looking forward to?
The next round of conventions we have, where we’ll be travelling to states we’ve never been to before! San Japan is in San Antonio, Texas, and Fandom Fest is in Louisville, Kentucky. Super nervous and excited all at once!
- 8. have you ever cried because you were so annoyed?
Yes.
- 12. what is something you want right now?
To get caught up on commissions, but I’m making good progress I think!
- 16. have you ever wanted to tell someone something but you didn’t?
Yes.
- 20. what is your favourite song at the moment?
The music for Persona 4 Ridiculously long name for a Fighting Game is stuck in my head right now.
- 24. height
5 foot 4 or 5 foot 6, I actually can’t remember.
- 28. i’ll love you if…
We can hang out at a con sometime ^__^
- 32. are your friends mainly girls or guys?
Mostly girls, I believe, it may actually be pretty even?
- 36. 3 dreams you want to fulfill?
1. Have a bestselling book.
2. Be a guest at a convention.
3. To marry my wifey with the big, geek wedding we want (Mortal Kombat themed), complete with awesome honeymoon.
- 40. favourite memory
Anything involving my brother :)
- 44. age you get mistaken for
It’s always under 30, like early 20s or something. I think I surprise people when I say 30.
- 48. turn offs
People who say they’re going to do something and they don’t do it, ESPECIALLY if you didn’t ask them to, they just say, “I’m totally going to do this,” and you wait and wait and… nothing. Also, I hate pity posts, the, “I’m so done,” posts that are fishing for sympathy, yet the poster won’t say what’s bothering them, or when you ask they get snippy about it in a, “Stop being so nosey/I don’t wanna talk about it” sort of way, but they’ll definitely respond to, “Keep going. You’re amazing. Ect. ect.” Also, people who bash others, or people who build themselves up by putting others down, or people who make assumptions about others without actually knowing them.
- 52. something i’m talented at
Writing. Crafting. Being a geek. Trying to reach my goals (even if I have bad days).
- 56. favourite food(s)
Yes to all? O.K. I’ll be serious, here’s a top 10 and its missing a lot.
1. My mom’s mac and cheese.
2. This chicken dish my wifey makes.
3. A good steak.
4. A real bowl of ramen.
5. Japanese candy (especially strawberry mochi and strawberry kit kats.)
6. Chocolate in a variety of forms or lemon desserts.
7. Broccoli or asparagus.
8. A good, cheesy pizza from Chicago (I have not been to New York but I hear great things) and really good mozzarella sticks.
9. Breakfast for dinner (especially French toast).
10. The everything my friend Nate makes.
Bonus from studying abroad in London/France: Shepard’s pie, a good duck, Fish n’ Chips, the ridiculously good ham and cheese sandwich I had in Paris on a baguette.
- 60. ask me anything you want
You should totally answer these same questions zessei-ouji!
I actually really love the hyper-stylized anatomy in Crystal.
I love the giraffe legs. I love the big chunky feet. I love the spindly super-articulated needle-point fingers. I love the sharp corners that their elbows and knees and wrists create.
They look like giants. They look like they could crush mortals under their feet. They aren’t soft, round, childlike moeblobs. They’re here to fuck shit up.

Tsuki ni kawatte… oshioki yo!
(god bless Sailor Moon Crystal trailer day, the day when we re-believed in the moon)
I am super excited for the new Sailor Moon, so I wanted to share some pictures I don’t think I’ve shared yet. When I decided to do asieybarbie’s version of Neo Queen Serenity, I had to add buns to the wig I got. So here’s how that whole thing happened ^__^
1. Got some blonde hair pieces from Sally’s Beauty Supply (blonde/light blonde works best since the color is going to be changed)
2. Got two sharpies that matched to the color of the wig then started to color to make sure it stuck to the hair. It did ^__^.
3. Colored the heck out of the hair with the sharpie.
4. Once a bit of the hair was colored I made sure it matched the wig after it was dry.
5. When done (and the hair was dry), my partner and I pinned it to the wig to see what it would look like.
6. Once we were pleased with it, we took a round hair bun (the ones you use to create a bun with your hair) and put the newly color hair around it to make a solid bun. The wifey then sewed the hair to the bun so that it would stay. After that, she hot glued some comb pieces so it could be put into the wig.
7. Ta da :)
Extra note: Your fingers will get messy, but don’t worry, you can get it off your hands pretty easily with just soap and water. Also, I recommend coloring by sections, and when you’re done go back in to check parts you missed. Be sure to flip the hair piece over to get the back side of the hair, and check the inner top parts too. I actually ended up only needing one sharpie, but get two just to be safe because I worked that one sharpie to death.
