Encik Farhan is a scammer. He backs projects, pledging hundreds or thousands of dollars at the highest tier, and then disputes the credit card charges 1-3 months later, often after his rewards have been shipped.
He pledged $1000 to my campaign, and a few days after I posted an update that backer rewards were being shipped, he filed a charge dispute with his credit card company. I’m still waiting for the outcome of my appeal, but if I lose $1000, it will ruin me.
Another project creator got in touch with me this week, asking about Encik Farhan, and dozens of creators have been affected by this asshole, but there is no built-in way to report individual backers or profiles on Kickstarter.

His email address registered with Kickstarter is akusukaiphone@gmail.com, and the contact email he gave me in his survey response is wadepakf@gmail.com.
If you are starting a project, WATCH OUT FOR THIS GUY. If he backs your project, assume that those funds will be disputed after your campaign is over. He’s screwing over creators, and meanwhile, he still gets to look good with all these “backed” projects showing up on his profile.

My partner/wifey/sewing mistress makes all of our cosplay. Looking back, I think Peach may have been the easiest dress since I also have Tiana and a fancy Belle. Oh man, poor Peach though, it’s such an old cosplay and she wants to fix it up since I’ve been wearing it so much later. It was originally made for the Smash Brothers BRAWL launch because I worked at GameStop at the time.
I don’t think it took that long? Once she gets going she can really get into it. Usually she’s working on cosplay on her off days, and now that she’s got three day weekends she has more time then she did before. I just get to be the moral support/stand there and let her put it on/pin things/ect. ect. I’m more of a painter/woodburner, but sewing? That’s aaaaall her. I do remember there were two versions, the midnight launch dress didn’t have the trim at the bottom, then when I started wearing it to cons she added it.
The funny thing is I was actually considering retiring Peach and wore it one last time back at a con in August? Hahahahahahaha no, having way too much fun, I forgot how much I loved this cosplay. Between the cosplay article I wrote from it and asieybarbie’s art, I think I’m going to be “peachy” for a while. So my wifey wants to fix up the dress now <3
