Here’s a look at the new items that will be on my storenvy page in the very near future! What should I do if I am contemplating suicide? I mean, I don't think I will actually do it but I feel super anxious and depressed all the time and I just want it to stop. I keep thinking about how nice it would be not to be like this. I just want everything to stop.

you are absolutely spectacular. Life feels so heavy and everything seems so useless and unnecessary. I know what its like to want everything to stop. I know how it feels to think that killing yourself is the way out.
It’s not. oh my god its not. You are so incredibly special and you are having such a rough time right now, I can tell you that things will get better, which is true, but maybe it’s helpful to know that you are strong and brave and if you believe in yourself and do your best to keep your chin up, then everything WILL stop. When you start reminding yourself that you are sunshine, you will start to shine. It’s not your fault, but it is your right to be happy. You are on this earth and you are wonderful and you are entitled to making decisions that make your life better. You are allowed to make the healthy choices you feel will help, even when people tell you its wrong.You are made of stars and you deserve the world

this means a lot, my boyfriend considers him self fat no matter what I tell him. One of my best guy friends thinks no one will date him because he is over weight which is the most un true thing every. All guys bodies are attractive.
This means a lot to me too because my boyfriend also thinks he’s fat regardless of what I say. The saddest day was when I watched him step on a scale and get sad at a number he saw. Spread the love.

how is it only now that more people seem to be realising that guys suffer too? this isn’t aimed at anyone i’m just saying… i’m a guy and i hate my body, people have laughed in my face before when they found out that i hate myself because they think that only girls suffer… so yeah, boys suffer too.
people don’t seem to realize that men get objectified in ads just as much as women do, they get advertised to about being worthless if they aren’t fit/muscular/handsome/don’t have a girlfriend/don’t have a big dick.
and people say that this is a “mans world,” and they get a lot of flack for not being, acting, looking, or even sounding manly enough.
my boyfriend gets low about his looks compared to others, and no matter how much i tell him otherwise i can tell it still eats away at him.
just like when i get low about my looks.just remember that guys get degraded by the standards of the media just as much as women do.

Why are we so ashamed of periods? … Women’s bodies are incredibly sexualized in our media and in our every day experiences. So much so that even mentioning menstruation sends a lot of people into kindergarten levels of EW. And why? Because for a moment, you have broken the spell. And suddenly, you are no longer a magical mannequin unicorn fairy existing purely for the sexual fantasy of other people. Suddenly, you’re a human being! (X)
Two things this reminds me of:
1. I remember in Women’s Studies, one of my teachers was telling us how she went to the grocery story and saw a friend there. This friend was another woman. She said hi to her and stuff, and the lady responded, but then she actually tried to hide the fact that she was buying pads. Like, “oh no I don’t want her to know I’m on my period,” and like… my teacher was so amazed, because this was a grown woman, and she didn’t want her to know her “secret.” I mean, sure, when you’re younger, maybe? Like I personally use to hate opening the wrapper in school because I felt like they were so loud and everyone would know and just, ugh. And yeah, there were the ridiculous ads, including one where the package “looked like a pack of sugar” or something really stupid. But… a grown woman?
But yeah, we do it too. We whisper to each other about it, like, “… psst… it started… do you have anything in your purse?” So it’s not just men who do it, women do it too. I’m not saying you have to blurt out to the entire room that you’re on your period, you just shouldn’t be embarrassed about it, especially if you’re around another lady because… they get it, too.
Oddly, this is like, one of the best perks of being with a lady. It’s like, when it’s that time of the month we just, get it, like, “Oh… o.k., what do you need, let’s go get it, end of story.”
2. Me and my dad. O.K., so one time when I was home from college, he was going to the store and was asking what I needed. I told him I needed pads. He proceeded to go into how he hated buying them for me, he always has, blah blah blah.
I looked at him straight in the face like, “Why? It’s not like they think they’re for YOU.” I also brought up how, sometimes, I would buy cigarettes for him (like if I had the car or whatever) and how, when I buy cigarettes, people think I’m buying them for myself and give me dirty looks because, you know, 18 and buying cigarettes. But a grown man buying pads? Yeah, no one thinks it’s for you, dad.
