Happy Pride month everyone! This is for @snowtigra (partner and clothing designer for the awesome @brichibi), my dear friend and seamstress extraordinaire! A little patchwork dragon sporting that pan pride!
I love this so much omfg!!!
When you and your partner are such bakudeku trash that she orders it on your food 😂😂😂
izuku midoriya is relatable as a protagonist because after months of hard physical training, being given a god super power by his idol as well as now being his idol’s trainee, and going to the high school of his dreams, he trips and falls on the first day and thinks “or i’ll just die” and just accepts it
why do they always showcase ‘bullies’ in cartoons as being some punk with a mohawk like
when was the last time you saw a cool guy in a leather jacket not minding his own business it’s usually some basic asshole in a graphic tee that has something to say
Because the people at the top have a vested interest in making people assume guys like them can’t be bullies.
Bullies in cartoons: Punks
The most violent faction in a dystopia: Punks
Unfriendlies in video games: Punks
Punk fashion is coded to be bad and untrustworthy. Suits and clean-cut clothes are coded to be good and upstanding people.
People with tats, body mods, dyed hair, funky hair cuts are coded to be dirty and lazy. Close-cropped hair, little to no stubble, zero body mods or tats, and nothing colourful is coded as clean and professional.
The people at the top would rather you see the group they fear the most as the enemy so you never question them or threaten their power.
Bonus round: if the character is a POC. Phew. I didn’t color my hair for yeeeeears because it was seen as bad/ghetto. My mama cut her hair and colored it and folks had a fit. She was STUNNED when we were at a con and was showered with compliments and not judgment.
Prompt: Day 5 (Apologizing for Bullying/Make Believe)
Warnings: Spoilers to Izuku vs Muscular
Pairings: BakuDeku/KatsuDeku
Summary: “Come on, Kacchan, we’re playing pretend. You can tell me, even if I don’t have a quirk, right?” (aka: All Might shouts random American locations with his attacks and Izuku doesn’t get it, but Kacchan is smart and has a quirk, so he’d know, right?)

One thing I really adore about the BNHA fandom (from what I’ve seen, I’m new here) is that they remember that Deku is strong even if he’s small.
I remember being in fandoms where small characters were immediately wilted down (particularly in yaoi pairings) even if in their respective series, they were strong as hell.
Deku did a ton of strength training and continues to do so throughout the series. This was before getting One For All, too, so I really appreciate when fic writers remember that he’s strong. Like this is the kid who raced through a forest with two broken arms. Just because you write him as a bottom doesn’t mean he’s weak, it just means he’s on the bottom. He can still punch out a robot and bounce off of walls with ease. And from the fics I’ve read writers remember that, which is awesome.
Basically thank you for treating Izuku Midoriya like the strong person he is even if he’s small.
Hello! I am here to announce that there will be an upcoming week devoted to the childhood past of our two favourite heroes in training: Katsuki Bakugou and Izuku Midoriya. It takes place on the ‘Day of the Child’[June 10th] and ends on Saturday June 16th.
Whether it be fanart or fanfiction, we are just excited to see how everyone interprets them at this age!
Each day will have two prompts:
Day 1 [6/10] – Sleepover / Secret Base
Day 2 [6/11] – Playground / Crying
Day 3 [6/12] – Meeting other Class 1-A Children / Camping
Day 4 [6/13] – Free Day!*
Day 5 [6/14] – Apologizing for Bullying / Make Believe
Day 6 [6/15] – Parents / First Day of School
Day 7 [6/16] – Dress up / Stuffed Animals
*The Free Day is to give everyone a chance to write whatever they want for the two kiddies!
If you want to participate then just take a brief look at our rules. This event is SFW (obviously) and we will be tracking the tag #ktdk-kidweek.
This is the story of a geeky anime/gaming gal by the name of Chibi. Please fasten your seat belts and prepare for... some sort of ride? Oh! I love to write, and I also love doing crafty things. I go to conventions with my partner and sell woodburned things, clocks, mirrors, and more! So expect to see those on here too :)
