I haven’t written fic in FOREVER but that’s the power of BNHA I guess.
Title: Two Steps To Breaking
Warnings: Angst, spoilers up to the Hideout Raid Arc
Pairings: BakuDeku
Summary: It wasn’t just his eyes now. His voice was softer than normal. The word he should’ve been using was so obvious, but what was the point with a hero like Deku? If manufactured hatred didn’t push the boy away, what in the hell would love do?
BNHA summary: Once I learn how to throw a punch without destroying my entire body it’s over for you bitches
that’s it that’s the show
Finale confirmed.
Translation
Bakugou: “De…. ….!!!“
Shigaraki: “Thanks for the next symbol of hope, I’ll take him from here, haha…"
Bakugou: "Deku!!”
Deku: “Don’t come for me."
Deku: "Kacchan.”
Bakugou:*collapses* “…. ….!!”
Bakugou: "FUUUUUUCK!!!!“

WHO GAVE YOU THE RIGHT?!?!?!
you’ve seen Shy!Deku, now prepare for…
EvenShyer!Kacchan
It wasn’t exactly the most romantic setting. It was supposed to be, right? Maybe a grassy area overlooking the sunset, or whatever location came equipped with perfect lighting and atmosphere. But when you were training to be a hero, your time was spent at school, so there they were, in an empty stairwell, about to…
What, exactly?
Fortunately, they’d already worked out the awkward bits. Childhood friends turned rivals, or something like that, complete with aggressive declarations of each other’s names before someone beat the crap out of someone else. Regulated beat downs via training, what a dream scenario.
They were still just standing there, huh?
Someone was supposed to kiss someone. They’d discussed this, or rather, Bakugou did his gruff, “Come here, Deku,” thing, and Deku trotted after him. He’d never seen Kacchan look so flustered before, but mentioning that meant certain death. They’d ended up in the stairwell and Bakugou shifted from one foot to the other before brushing his fingers against a round, freckled cheek.
“Do I have something on my fac-”
“Shut up.”
Right. No talking.
Despite the bursts of fire that erupted from his hands, Bakugou’s fingers were surprisingly soft. When they whispered against Deku’s lips the other boy, working on pure instinct, as always, kissed them. He had his apology locked and loaded but Bakugou didn’t look angry. Instead, he pulled his hand back, closed his eyes, leaned in, and-
Time stood still. Literally. Because neither boy was taking that final step forward. Years from now, someone would ask them who made the first move, and both would have a different story to tell. Bakugou, of course, would say that stupid Deku could barely tie his own shoes let alone take the initiative and kiss a guy. Deku would be kinder about it, whisper about how surprisingly sweet the explosive young man had been. That was neither here nor there, because as their lips came together, one thought crossed their minds:
It’s finally happening.

This art is so cute so I wrote a ficlet thing because I’ve fallen into this ship pretty hard. Also I haven’t written any kind of fic thing in YEARS so THANK YOU BNHA for waking up the fic muses.
“What’s with that movement? He’s moving like Bakugou”
Bakugou and Deku complement each other really well and they share similar traits and habits~
Hi I haven’t been on here in forever but I’ve fallen down this rabbit hole.

Happy New Year, magical ones! I haven’t updated in FOREVER! The end of 2017 was full of conventions back to back so I didn’t have much time.
I wanted to say thank you for a really great launch of my book magnifiqueNOIR! It’s been about 3 months and the reception for it has been great! I’m gonna be pushing it even harder this year and I hope to have (at least) the rough draft for book two done by the end of the year! I’ll be approaching bookstores about carrying the book and, of course, I’m always looking for reviewers and places to feature it!
In case you want a taste of the Black Girl Magic going on with my queer magical girls, you can check them out here:
Thanks everyone, and don’t forget! You are magical :)
