How Raleigh Becket Changed His Tune Once He Met Miss Mako Mori: A Short Story
“You don’t understand, I’m a complicated hero with angst and man pai- OMG SHE’S PERFECT EVERYONE GET IN THE JAEGER WE’RE GOING MONSTER HUNTING”
Oh god I never noticed how his shoulders drop in that last gif. It looks like he is literally sighing over how perfect she is.
He LITERALLY sighs at her when she walks by. NEVER have I seen a main character hero who is an extremely masculine male be SO ADORING of a woman. He has literal stars in his eyes. He’s tipsy on admiration. He looks at her like she brought Christmas and puppies and chocolate cake.
I STAN MANLY MEN WHO ARE RESPECTFUL AND EMOTIONALLY AVAILABLE AND TOTAL EQUALS WITH THEIR LADY FRIENDS
Raleigh treats Mako like the capable adult that she is but he just worships her. He treats her correctly but he walks on air behind her with hearts in his eyes. Dude is crushing hard and still gets what needs to be done done.
an obnoxious & annoying child dragon wakes up the elderly, who’re too useless to do it themselves. At the same time he also has to reclaim their stolen finances which are lazily thrown around the entire world.
PS he can’t even fucking fly.

you can choose to play as a white-haired amnesiac who can turn into monsters or a pink-haired chick who can use magic, and the two of you are trying to find a macguffin that’ll grant some dumb wish.
You go to live with your uncle and there’s a bear inside the television who talks about scoring all the time, then you have to decide if you want to play basketball or soccer while solving a murder and fighting monsters and folding paper cranes.
When there’s trouble you know who to Sie sind das Essen und wir sind die Jäger!
Playing with a blue wig and the new clothes I got from my mama, who couldn’t resist a sale, and sent me and my wifey a box of goodies :) I was going to wear a costume to Fallcon this weekend but now I’m thinking of doing this instead ^^
Back in July John and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary, he had been wanting a copy of Majora’s Mask for the N64 we recently dug out of my closet so of course I went absolutely overboard finding a way to present it. I decorated a cheap treasure box from Michaels and stashed away the game with a gatcha toy figurine from Wind Waker wrapped as a bomb, fire and ice arrows lollypops, shield mint tin, sword pen, gusher candy rupees, lon lon milk energy drink, and a “letter from the princess”. The hardest part was trying to do all this without the person I shared one small room with finding out.
Okay, this. I hate this. I really dislike the way the anime put Annie in this scene.
You can clearly see that she has a peaceful yet sad face with tears in her eyes in the anime, but that doesn’t express not even 1% of how she really felt, how hard it was to fake it all along the years and to fight Eren and Armin. She liked them. They were cool guys, Eren was funny and if you remember she smiled and wanted to show him the kicking fight style. And Armin, oh, Armin. He was nice to her, and she appreciated that, because she was lonely.
You may say she’s a bitch without feelings but I dare you to read the manga again and watch her expressions, because the anime makes her look like a bitch, and she’s not. There are a lot of scenes in manga you haven’t seen in anime.
Let’s continue, the second image, from the manga. It expresses her struggle for life, fear, oh Annie, have you seen her show fear? Not once. In this scene in the manga you can perfectly appreciate the fact she’s hurt, she’s lost and has fear.
She had to put the world as her entire enemy because her father said her so, she’s only 15 years old and she had to lie to everyone, and not get too close to anyone. And now, she can’t go back. She can’t fulfill her promise. For the first time in her whole life she doesn’t know what do to. Is this where it ends? All the lifes she’s taken away, all the lies she had to tell, all the effort…was it for nothing?
Conversely, I have not read the manga, yet I still got all of this. There is undoubtedly a lot more unsaid (from what I can tell) in the anime, but the subtlety was executed well, and I was still able to derive all of these thoughts about Annie.
I feel like I would have ached for her way less if things were as dramatic as this manga panel suggested. My heart was still in my throat when I thought Eren was going to kill her. I still feared for her - not because I’m a big Annie fan per say, but because I knew she was scared. It was wordless and wonderful.
Pretty much. I ship everyone. It’s so great to ship everyone, because you can never go wrong with great art and fic and things. I accept all the headcanons and it’s wonderful :)

This is the story of a geeky anime/gaming gal by the name of Chibi. Please fasten your seat belts and prepare for... some sort of ride? Oh! I love to write, and I also love doing crafty things. I go to conventions with my partner and sell woodburned things, clocks, mirrors, and more! So expect to see those on here too :)
