For those who haven’t ordered from me before, the purchase is for a 5x7 glossy postcard print with an insignia on the front and a message of your choice filling up the back. If you don’t leave me specifics as to the message/drawing you want on the back, then I’ll come up with something of my own just for you! I have 25 of each, first come first serve. All postcards come shipped in an envelope so as to provide some extra level of protection.

So the Naoto cosplayer I gush about is doing more postcards of more characters. Her cosplay is amazing and she personally signs the postcards and will write you a nifty message. She’s a great lady and does such good work! She even drew a doodle on my Naoto card ^^
I really want to try cosplaying Naoto Shirogane, but I’m a guy, and I can guarantee I’ll get a lot of negative remarks from both my friends and the general public.

You should cosplay who you want! There are a lot of great male Naoto Shirogane cosplayers :) The point of cosplay is to cosplay who you want, to cosplay who you love. If Naoto is who you want to be, then be her. You should not be scared to cosplay, ever. You should not worry over what other people think, you should cosplay because it makes you happy. Have fun with it. There are going to be people who love your cosplay, I promise. Send me a picture, I want to see, show me your Naoto cosplay. I’m not going to judge. I love Naoto, too. The more Naoto love, the better!

If this said “black teenage girls” or “gay teenage girls” or ANYTHING like that everyone would be up in arms.
I appreciate that “white people” enslaved millions and were generally shit to what they consider to be minorities. I understand that. But that doesn’t give anyone the right to be racist/sexist/phobic in the other direction.

Stereotypes and hatred based on sexuality or gender orientation is wrong.
And here’s the thing nobody seems to get; It’s wrong in both directions.
Equality is about everyone being equal while accepting that we have cultural or physical or any other kind of differences. It’s not about preaching hatred for another kind of person - I believe that’s the kind of thing we’re meant to be fighting against.

The solution to racism/sexism/homophobia/all that’s in between is NOT by bashing the majority. It’s just not. That gets you nowhere. No, actually, it makes it worse. If you want more support and understanding, then stop doing stuff like this.
