It sounds like my joint book with my partner, “Hunters: Seeking the Storyteller,” is set to begin the editing process in September. Huzzah! Meanwhile, we’ve learned about a fun little thing authors do where they show “text messages” from their characters. So here’s a conversation from our characters, Mira and Cyn.
Cyn is your typical “don’t look at me the wrong way or I will remove your eyeballs and use them as stress balls” kind girl. Mira, on the other hand, believes in rainbows and magic and chocolate candies ^^

*gaaaaaaasp* EEEE O.K. omg I’m so excited. I’ll probably through some X/1999 in there too because there’s only like three characters but I’ll focus on those three.
Favourite Female: Hokuto (in Tokyo Babylon). As for X/1999 I loved Arashi and Karen, also, Satsuki, Nekoai, Yuzuriha. I suppose Hokuto shows up in X/1999 sort of.
Favourite Male: SUBARU! OMG! My precious baby, but man just. O.K. The transformation he went through, and just, I mean even with all of the tragic anime I watch (Madoka, MADOKA) I STILL think he is like, the most tragic anime character I have ever encountered. To go from being so happy to just… oh god, and just… ARGH! The most frustrating thing is that in the manga, he actually JOINED THE OTHER SIDE but the manga was never finished ;__;
3 Other Favourite Characters: Going into X/1999 now. Kamui. Sorata (AHHHH SORATA WHY?!) Fuuma, Nataku, just… such a good series.
3 OTPs: Seishiro/Subaru, which is the ship that NO ONE SHOULD SHIP BECAUSE SEISHIRO IS SUCH A BAD PERSON BUT YOU SHIP IT BECAUSE FUCK! Also Fuuma/Kamui, and Sorata/Arashi. Ugh I just realized that NONE OF THESE END WELL WHY?!
Notp: Seishiro and Subaru, because Seishiro is a dick, but god, fucking, ARGH! Fucking… shit >.<
Funniest character: Sorata
Prettiest character: Karen with her crinkly pretty red hair. Also Kakyo is unnaturally pretty. And Subaru, Suuuuubaru you grew up but for all the wrong reasons :(
Most Annoying Character: Can’t think of one.
Most badass character: Arashi is pretty bad ass. So is Subaru OK HE IS LIKE MY FAVORITE!
Character I’d like as my BFF: Hokuto
Female Character I’d Marry: HOKUTO! She’d make me ridiculous clothes but I would rock them
Male Character I’d Marry: Sorata, you know… had he lived ;__;
Character I hate/dislike/least like: Seishiro. You fucking asshole. What you did to Subaru is unforgivable. But I can’t help but ship you with him, because he needs you so much, and just I HATE YOU! And you dying was like the worst ending ever because WHAT DID YOU SAY TO SUBARU?! Love? Hate? WHAT?! You just… ARGH! I HATE YOU BUT YOU AND SUBARU HAVE SUCH AN INTERESTING DYNAMIC AND OMG!!! >.<
Servant x Service is about 3 graduated college students working in an office where there are more dialogue humor. One of them is an innocent hyperactive pervertic goofball, but has a heart of gold. Plus they made fun of FREE! in recent episode. You can find that image on tumblr. I strongly recommend it.

Right on :) There’s a lot of series I need to check out, but since I’m usually out of the popular show loop I’m kinda surprised I’m watching Attack on Titan, Free!, and listening to Night Vale.

MADOKA OH GOD! I haven’t seen the other two but dear lord Madoka.
Favourite Female: Homura. Just. I really do like all of the girls, but Homura just… poor girl. Though I also really liked Sayaka, because that was the slow descent into madness. Like, this is what this power does to you, from beginning to end. I also really liked Madoka’s mom, because, you know that she knows something is up and she lets Madoka do her thing, and just… wow ow o.k.?
Favourite Male: Honestly? Kyousuke. I really liked him because you can’t blame him. He didn’t know how she felt while, at the same time, there were moments where you knew he at least appreciated her. Him apologize to her for snapping in the hospital. Him playing the violin in the last episode then calling her name. Just… it was so tragic to me. Like… who knows what could’ve happened if he knew her feelings, and you can’t be mad at him for not saying anything, they were friends already, it’s hard to tell when your friend’s feeling turns into “love” because they’re around you for so long, how can you tell the difference between “ah this is just them resting their head on my shoulder like normal,” and, “ah this is them falling in love with me.”
3 Other Favourite Characters: Mami, Sakura, Madoka. And I’m going to get shot, but I like Kyubey as a villain, I thought they did a fucking amazing job going from “look at this cute mascot” to “shit shit shit shit shit!”
3 OTPs: Homura x Madoka, Homura x Madoka, and Homura x Madoka. Seriously. SERIOUSLY! Though I have no issues with any of the girls paired with each other, this is just my favorite ship.

Character I hate/dislike/least like: Again, none. I don’t even hate Hitomi for liking Kyousuke. It sucks, yeah, but she actually told Sayaka and was like, “If you want him, go tell him.” She wasn’t terrible enough to be like, “Nope I like him, done.” She was like, “Look, if you like him, tell him, otherwise I am going to talk to him.” Because for all she knows, maybe it was just friendly feelings between Kyousuke and Sayaka, or maybe she knew and was trying to give Sayaka a final push. Who knows. It sucks, but I can’t hate her. Same with Kyubey, actually. A terrible, terrible villain, but wow. You’re supposed to hate it, and oh god do you ever, but at the same time… what an interesting villain in a series. Just… apathetic and… wow. AND THEN TO TOP IT ALL OFF Kyubey tells Homura, “her being so powerful is YOUR fault because you keep going back in time,” and just… wow, fuck!
