Holiday season is right around the corner so I thought, “I should advertise the shop.” Now that I have clocks again, I can open up custom orders on them :) Here’s some examples of the work I do.

Last year I didn’t make it to the 50,000, but Nano definitely helped me work out the kinks of my first novel, which I’m working to get published right now. Here’s the information on my second book idea, for those who are curious. I’m thinking about posting bits and pieces to tumblr, which I didn’t do last year… then again I didn’t have tumblr last year ^^;;;
Just in case if any of my followers are actually curious about my writing when it comes to original works, not just Kanji and Naoto :)
I also have a joint story with my partner that we’re working on together. She writes it and I edit it, adding bits here and there. With Nano last year, we got a lot of the details for the first story worked out, and we’re working on getting that one published, too. This second story is a continuation of the first, and we have like, seven books planned?
So yeah, happy Nano, happy writing, and things :)
Nanowrimo!
So I’m totally doing it this year, did it last year too (it helped me get through a bunch of my novel that I’m trying to get published). So I’m not sure how many headcanons I’m going to get done since I want to try and focus on Nano and the new story idea I have. Though knowing my muses, this message is pointless, and Kanji and Naoto are going to come up with ideas inside my head ^^;;;
I’m thinking about posting links to my progress bar and stuff, except work computer doesn’t like the Nano site, so I’ll have to do it from home.

Notes: As soon as I saw the movie I knew what I had to do. I had to wear that green dress. And so, I did :) I want to thank everyone for showing so much appreciation to the costumes I’ve been posting here. Since I am plus sized, I get a bit worried about sharing pictures and what people will say, but I’ve gotten nothing but positive feedback, so thank you to all of you (and to this lovely tumblr page, too!)
Fun fact 1: This is one of the few costumes where I don’t need a wig, wow! Well that’s a lie, I needed an extra hair piece the first time because I had JUST gotten my hair cut, then we saw the movie, and I looked at my hair like, “DAMNIT!”
Fun fact 2: In real life I don’t really wear dresses, like at all, yet somehow when it comes to cosplay I always end up picking the characters with the biggest dresses ever. ”Oh hey I really like Tiana and her green dress, of LEAVES, that should be fun, right?!” My partner loves making them though, and I love wearing them, we just both think its funny that, normally, I’m in comfy pants everyday but I never seem to pick characters with pants.

While proofreading a document I read the word “swaps” and “swags,” then my brain was like, “Swags? Oh, like what Souji has. Is this document about Persona? OMG! Is my fandom leeking into my job? Does my job have the moves like Souji? Tee hee, it’s got the moves like Souji, it’s got the moooooooooves like Souji.”
“… oh, wait that says swaps. Hahahahaha…”

Jim Shore has made beautiful figures of a lot of the Disney princesses. One of my favorites is his version of Belle from Beauty and the Beast. My partner decided that she wanted to make costumes of it (she does all of the costume making in the relationship).
Wearing these to conventions is a lot of fun, but when we actually wore them to the Beauty and the Beast musical that came to town? That was priceless :)
