The Inner Workings of a Chibi.

How much is that Jack Frost in the window?  In the Geek Room rests this little guy, one of my favorite persona in the entire franchise (he’s so cute!)  This corner of the window has him hand drawn by my lovely partner then painted by me.

We’re thinking about drawing and painting Shadow Teddie above the window, at some point.  I swear these walls are going to be covered with so many things ^^;;;

And yes, those are little P4 keychains in the one picture.  The wooden circles?  Sketches by my good friend of Kanji and Naoto (hard to see in the picture since I was trying to get a close up of Jack Frost)

It occurred to me that I never posted this.  I’m not sure why.  I haven’t made much Panty and Stocking stuff.  Again, I’m not sure why, because it’s fun to make stuff from this series  :)  Here’s the three coasters I have made, and I’d always love to make more.

Why having your partner in the same fandom is awesome

Cut for spoilers to Black Butler chapter 74.

Wow something NOT Kanji and Naoto related… for now (dun dun dunnnnn!)

That question about my gaming preferences got me thinking… I haven’t gamed in a while!  I mean yeah I beat the hell out of New Super Mario Brothers 2, have been playing Lego Batman 2 a lot, but… jeez, I haven’t bought a game in a while now.  Guess that what happens when you don’t work at the game store anymore  ^^;;;

What the heckles is even coming out besides Assassin’s Creed III and Liberation with the awesome lead female character (want to cosplay *__*)?  Is there anything else that matters?  I mean yeah, the Golden, the Wii U (which not gonna break my neck over), Lego LoTR, that new Shin Megami Tensei 4 if that even becomes a thing anytime soon, Paper Mario, but… anything else?!  I mean I’m excited for Injustice, Bioshock Infinite, and like Ni no Kuni and God of War (a little… I’m not sure about this whole prequel thing…) but… that’s not til next year.  I feel like I’m missing something.

Halp?

[Fic] One hundred and one

100 followers (+1) gets its very own fic (besides these headcanons were all basically mini fics anyway right?)  I promise I will get to the other requests soon, I just wanted to get this one done first :) It’s got a little bit of Persona 4, a little bit of Arena, and the ending to the Golden just as a heads up.

Thanks, everyone, for reading, for liking, for reblogging, for commenting just… thank you.  I’m not sure you realize how awesome that is, especially since I am working to get something blushed, so these have becoming nifty little writing exercises to keep my brain working.  So yay to all of you, I <3 you!

Summary:  100 times Naoto could’ve said “I love you” and the 1 time she did.

I think I posted these a long, long time ago, but back then it wasn’t as full as it is now.  But someone asked for pictures, and ye shall receive.  Sorry for kinda poor quality since I used my phone.  A few fun facts:

1.  Everything is hand painted by my partner and I.  We painted the walls yellow, the ceiling black, then proceeded to draw on the walls and paint.  I did the Pac-Man stuff and the details on the portal, along with the Star Fox ship and Katamari going towards the Earth.  She did the tetris pieces, the Jack Frost, and the Sonic level inside the closet.  I did the Konami code as well.

2.  This is a combination of both of our collections and signs and things we’ve found and purchased together – including the sweet display stand that spins, thanks Borders for that.  This also includes nifty things from my dad that he gave me.  This includes a Magnovox Odyssey, a lot of the old school comic book figures, and the Marvel jacket hanging by the Gargoyles figures that he hand painted himself (see where I get the art from)

3.  This room is NOT complete yet.  We still have plans to paint a moon on a ceiling with the blue portal, a Mega-man level above one the other window to go with the 8-bit Mega-man art we have.  Eventually, we’re going to get shelves to put on the walls so it’s a bit more organized.

4.  This does NOT have all of our things in it.  There’s still a few things in boxes, and recently purchased things to put in there (like the P4 artbook I just bought, ect.)  There’s also more things in the living room, but I haven’t taken pictures of it.  That’s where a lot of our comic book figures or nicer anime figures are, like the Ame-Comi ones, or nice Final Fantasy ones, Ghostbusters stuff, and things like that.  We have plans to move them into the Geek Room once we get better shelves.

5.  I am, indeed, that collector nerd that will sometimes buy two copies of a game to keep one sealed.  Hence me actually having 2 Raidou Jack Frosts, one is still in the box with the game, sealed.  Also, hence me having two copies of like, Mario All-stars, and things like that.

6.  The standees come from my old job.  The Zelda one?  I completely lied my ass off about.  A customer was asking what we were doing with it when we were finished and I said that another customer had already claimed it.  Yeah… ^^

7.  Yes, that is He-man toys, and Gargoyles, thanks to my partner  :)

8.  Next geek project?  Underwater level Mario bathroom.  Already have a Nintendo sign above that door  ^^

(Because I can't reblog your answer LMFAO TUMBLR PLS) AAAAA- You play P4A, GG, /AND/ BB. I absolutely love those games to death! ('specially blazblue because it's the first FG I played seriously). I'm also a girl gamer as well actually, but because of my other expensive hobby -coughpvcfigurescough- I had to trim down the games I play to mostly 2d anime fighters or games of interest or has a psp/pc port . (man I hope I don't sound like a creeper with these questions )

I discovered Guilty Gear in college.  I was blessed with a roommate from overseas, so she had a bunch of games that I had never heard of before.  The way she sold Guilty Gear to me was, “There’s a ton of yaoi hints between the main characters.”  When I saw that it was a 2D fighter I was like, “… you could’ve just said 2D fighter, but the yaoi helps?”  After that I was hooked.  I think I have all the Guilty Gears and BlazBlues… I think, well o.k. I know I don’t, because once something is “extended” like 600 times I give up.

Oh dear lord don’t talk to me about figures.  I need to send you pictures of my house, because I have an entire room full of figures, video games, manga… I have a fucking portal painted on my wall.  I’m not even kidding.  There’s a portal, with the ship from Starfox, a Katamari ball, there’s Pac-Man pieces painted around shelves, there’s Tetris blocks, Jack Frost, all of this painted by me and my partner.  And the figures?  Soooooo many figures.  All over the place.  I have 99 problems and my nerdiness is all of them.

Requests to finish

Mostly posting so I remember, lol.

1.  An amusement park story in which Kanji is scared of roller coasters (don’t worry, Kanji, I hate them too)

2.  Kanji’s into sappy romance movies.  Naoto, not so much.

3.  Naoto teaching Kanji English via the works of Sherlock Holmes (this speaks to my current obsession with Elementary)  Though I don’t have any ideas for the teaching English part, something involving Naoto and Sherlock Holmes is absolutely required.

4.  Something for having 100 followers now (have an idea already)

I think that’s it.  Expect things in the next few days  :)

ALSO!  If you request something that’s not work-safe, that’ll take a bit longer, since I can’t do those during my downtime at work obviously  ^^

I'm curious, what kind of video games do you play? Any preferred Genre?

This is going to be loooong because I am a gamer girl  :)  This also means there’s going to be games I leave out  ^^

I tend to play pretty much anything except for sports (with the exception of like Mario sports) or first person shooters (with the exception of like Portal or Metroid Prime).  I don’t like sports games at all, I’ve tried them, couldn’t get into them.  As for shooters… I am quite terrible at them  ^^;;;

I love RPGs to death.  Well, let me rephrase, I love GOOD RPGs to death.  My first being Secret of Mana and the Super Mario RPG that was on SNES, but that was back before I knew what an RPG really was.  That would come with Final Fantasy 7.  Obviously, I love the Persona games, but I love Shin Megami Tensei in general.  I dig the plots, the characters, just… all of that.  They’re always so interesting!  I can’t say I’ve loved every RPG I’ve touched… I’m not great at tactics ones, and I haven’t really liked the latest Final Fantasy games.  There’s also Western ones I like, like Mass Effect.  I like creating my own character and deciding what happens along the way.

I also really, really love fighting games.  Ever since Street Fighter 2 and Chun-Li.  I can’t say I’ve played EVERY fighting game out there, but I’ve played a bunch.  I really like the not as well known 2D ones, like Guilty Gear, and BlazBlue, and things like that with the crazy combo systems and all that (you can see why P4 Arena was right up my ally).  I also like 3D ones like Tekken and Soul Calibur.  Also a huge fan of the classic Mortal Kombats, hence my love for the latest one and my excitement for Injustice: Gods Among Us.  I even like the Naruto games (even if I don’t particularly care for the series anymore), the Gamecube ones and recent PS3 ones are great.

Zombie games and horror games, I like those too, but my partner is the one who does the horror because they scare me (Silent Hill, Fatal Frame, I’ll watch but NOT play).  I like the classic Resident Evils.  Not that I dislike the newer ones, but I miss the ones that were scary, you know?  I classify BioShock as being scary, and Dead Space, just… those games with a dark, creepy environment that are interesting, but terrifying.

Adventure games like Heavenly Sword, or God of War (looooove God of War) are also up my ally.  Assassin’s Creed, Prince of Persia, Shadow of the Colossus (which brings up another love – games with amazing art) and just… I like going on quests.  OH!  Arkham Asylum/City, dear lord just… yeah.  Grand Theft Auto (is that action adventure?  eh…).  I love driving around and just… yeah, open world games where I can explore are a big plus for me.  I also like the fun adventure games , like Ratchet and Clank (love that series to death).  Zelda is always classic, I haven’t played EVERY one but ever since mastering Ocarina of Time I’ve been a big fan (though honestly, once upon a time I watched a friend play the Nintendo one as a kid, I just had no idea what it was)

I have a soft spot for the Mario games and the classic Sonic games.  I don’t like new school Sonic as much – except the Dreamcast ones and Generations – but Mario?  I always love those games, even the  3DS/DS ones.  They’re just fun, all the time.  Same with Kirby.  Just… it’s a lot of the same, but they’re so fun!

I also like music games.  NOT like Guitar Hero (not that it’s bad, just not my thing) but like, Bust-A-Groove, Elite Beat Agents (and the Japanese one), Theatrhythm, Bit Trip Saga and stuff like that.  Also like puzzle games, I’ll play Tetris forever, and Professor Layton and things like that  :)

So… yeah, I play a ton of stuff.  I haven’t been lately, what with me working on trying to get my book published and all, but I love video games.  I have everything but a Vita, which I do plan on picking up for Assassin Creed and Persona reasons.  I’m halfway considering the Wii U, but will probably wait for a bit.  Definitely NOT going to run out during holiday season and fight my way to one, I can wait until next year… or until Smash Brothers is announced.

Well fluff bunny baskets!

Didn’t I just post that “almost at 100 followers” post like, half an hour ago?  Now I’m at 101  O.O  You guys are so awesome, thank you!  I’ll have to come up with something to celebrate when I’m not exhausted from work.

Also, for those who made requests, I still plan on finishing them up once I’m more awake  :)

Good night, everyone, and thank you once again!
