Dear Persona fandom
Did I miss something? Suddenly there’s a bunch of pictures of Minato and Souji. Like… it’s not that I MIND, because they’re all either awesome or adorable and they’re totally BFFs o.k.?! I just want to know if I missed some sort of memo about it. I usually arrive to parties late, so it’s probably my own foolishness, so just keep posting o.k.?

This may be asking for trouble, but I have a super short shift at work and will want to be amused when I get home because it’s a holiday and we’re open.
More coasters finished. Here’s a mix of many fandoms. From ponies to persona, and even some Batman, it’s a random post of things getting done for Anime Iowa. I’ve posted the one Persona one before, I just fixed it up a bit :)
A typical day at work
Take One
Me: *puts away games, minding my own business*
Customer: *walks up to the counter and grabs the Persona 4 Arena display case*
Me: *hears the epic “Thou Art I” music from Persona 4 in my head as I think to myself* Is this a bond I can form? Is this person interested in the same thing as me? Perhaps I can establish a strong social link-
Customer: *puts case down and starts talking about Black Ops 2 instead with a friend*
Me: *heartbroken*
Take Two
Me: *puts games away*
Customer: *walks in, grabs the Persona 4 Arena case* Oh man I can’t wait, when does this come out?!
Me: *hears that tranquil, peaceful, “You Maxed out your Social Link,” music* A-August 7th
Customer: Awesome! I need to pre-order this
Me: *big huge stupid smile* OMG IT’S GOING TO BE AMAZING OMG OMG OMG! *then stops, thinking* shit that was too much…
Customer: Oh god I know, right?! Persona 4 is so AMAZING!!! I love it so much it’s perfect!
Bond established! God I’m such a loser aren’t I?

O.K. This is impressive for a fighting game, awesome! I’m going to have to beat Kingdom Hearts in a week before dedicating my life to P4 Arena!
Here’s what’s coming out in the gaming world this month. I’m super stoked about Kingdom Hearts, which I got to play at E3 and it was really, really fun :) I actually had a regular customer at the store/friend come in and PAY for my copy of the game for my birthday O.O
C-can we bake those cupcakes maybe? Also, going to Otakon? I run the Persona shoot there.
I wish I was going to Otakon, but alas, I’m a Midwest kid who goes to most of the cons out here. I AM going to have Persona cake for my birthday in a few weeks, does that count?
Boycotting fun times
You know, maybe they’re right, maybe Atlus is an awful company. Think about it!
1. The fact that you can name your character whatever you want, means that you can name him something offensive, which is just outrageous! This means you can walk around being called horrible things for all the world to see. Oh, and the fact that this boy is a blank slate to begin with shows their opinion of teenage boys: that they are blank and can’t think for themselves, they need someone to guide them.
2. The fact that everyone needs glasses clearly, clearly shows that Atlus thinks that we, as people, can’t see the truth, and that we need help. Assholes.
3. The fact that Adachi is the bad guy shows what they think of the police. Police are evil, evil people, at Atlus knows this, since a police officer is the bad guy here. Nevermind the fact that Dojima and Naoto are good detectives, ADACHI is a clear statement against “the man,” or… something.
4. Don’t get me started on their opinion about gas station attendants!
Please understand that I’m being silly, I love Atlus… even if they think I need glasses. Although, getting together and baking cupcakes to send to the company ala Mass Effect 3 might be fun, we can make Teddie shaped ones!
