When the rest of the class heads down the reality of the situation sets in — they’re both missing class at the best hero academy in the country, their classmates flat out calling their scuffle stupid.
Izuku still doesn’t feel like it was, though, especially when Uraraka asks the million dollar question:
“Did you two make up?”
That. That’s why that fight felt like it was worth it, even if, technically, Izuku can’t answer her. Have they made up? Is this making up?
He actually doesn’t know.

Extra Notes: This fic was inspired by @crispyfrites tweeting about being hungry for fics post-battle and mentioning house arrest, THEN @psychosnroses came out of NOWHERE with this AMAZING TWITTER THREAD about BakuDeku during their house arrest that I just had to write about.

I know they talk about Bakugou’s reaction times a lot, but JESUS CHRIST THIS BOY’S REACTION TIMES ARE NUTS!
Like… being punched in the face, grabbing Deku’s arm, kicking him, and flipping him mid-air.
Or Deku flipping himself up to avoid an attack only for Bakugou to grab him immediately.
And Deku’s only using what, 5-8% and is moving that fast?!
Like… damn. When these two finally do team up it’s over for all them villains.
can we, as a society, start to realize that having a phone does NOT mean you HAVE TO BE accsessible to anyone and everyone at ALL times??
My mom threw a fit at me for not answering my phone while i was at my friends place. Kinda hypocritical too, given how much she complains that “youth these days spend to much time on their phones”
My boss was very CLEARLY not satisfied that i only got back to his text hours after he sent it. My friend didnt speak to me for weeks once bc she thought we were having a FIGHT??? bc i didnt reply to her message on facebook? till the day after she sent it??
i HAVE a phone, that doesnt mean i HAVE TO BE availiable whenever ANYONE decides they want me to be???

can people stop assuming they are entiteled to my attention 24/7??
this is so important. people need their alone time & their space. & it doesn’t matter if you see them active on social media, sometimes people just like to scroll through their timeline without talking to anyone for a while. you really can’t expect to have someone’s attention every second of the day, it’s not realistic at all.
I have to remind people of this all the time especially since I work from home.
“Why didn’t you answer your phone?”
“I was working.”
“But you’re at home all day why didn’t you answer your phone?!”

I wrote a book last year about a group of black queer magical girls that has all kinds of nerd references and whatnot (because of course it does), so I thought it’d be fun to do some crossover art of the girls dressed as my current *cough* obsession.
We have Galactic Purple, the asexual leader dressed as All Might! She’s the first to get her powers in the book and uses her baking skills as magical attacks.
Cosmic Green is a bisexual gamer who is in awe of Galactic Purple when they first meet, so it made sense that she’d be Deku, she’s the most gung-ho of the group to go out and save the day.
Then there’s Radical Rainbow, a lesbian kickboxer who is always ready for a good fight. She won’t hesitate to, well, utterly wreck shop, so her as Bakugou was perfect.
There’s one more girl, my transgender baby, Prism Pink, but I have to finish her print.

You know what really impresses me about My Hero Academia? A lot of the big moments that I feel are like, series ending, end up being like… not even half of the story. Like, “WOW THIS FIGHT IS SO ICONIC I BET THE SERIES IS ABOUT TO END,” but the show is like, “… it’s about 10% done, lol STRAP IN KIDS!”
Like, “Ah, All Might is talking about the all powerful villain, I’m sure that fight will be way in the future… or RIGHT FUCKING NOW WHAT?!”
Or, “Ah, these two are rivals, they won’t work it out until the end, like Goku and Vegeta, or Sasuke and Naruto, it’ll take hundreds of episodes, several seasons… or JUST THREE?!”
Like I have no idea where the series is going. None. At all. Like every time I think they’ve gone all out they’re like “SURPRISE! Deku’s only at 5% of his power, there’s a hoard of villains out there, this kid from the sports festival is back, don’t forget we mentioned a traitor, we still got more characters to introduce you to, we still don’t know all the details of One For All, it’s not like All For One is dead, HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!”
