I never have before, what conventions are out that way?  I’m always willing to look into new cons and see if we can make it there  :)

That’s the other assumption I forgot to mention!  The fat = dirty stereotype.  I guess the assumption is that a fat person is so lazy that there’s no way they’d get up and shower?  But I dunno… I think I love Bath and Body Works a little too much to let that happen…

Someone sent me the link to that earlier!  I might look into it, I’m not sure.  I’ve seen some amazing posts of people confronting others on their hate, not because of that site but just in general, it usually leads to what we already know is true: no one wants to answer to the hate they spew, especially when they have to deal with what it does to people off of anonymous.  

I’ll never forget a post I saw, some girl was getting anon hate in the “just go and die” variety.  She stopped checking her Tumblr for a bit, and when she came back she saw messages like, “… you didn’t actually do it, did you?  Oh god I hope you didn’t actually kill yourself.  I’m sorry!  I don’t want a person’s death on my hands, omg!  You’re actually pretty cool, I don’t know why I did that!” Just goes to show who these people really are.

I’m never gonna forget, trust me  :)  You all are one of the biggest reasons why I can keep going <3 <3 <3  

You know, honestly, it’s probably because I’ve heard this kind of talk before, to my face.  I come from a time before the internet and anonymous hate, back when people actually had to call you a fat pig to your face if they wanted to talk shit about you.  So when I get comments like that now my brain is like, “… still? Really?”  Though I suppose hate is eternal, which means I don’t want to spend my life letting it bring me down.  I’d rather enjoy my life and, maybe, get others to want to do the same  :)  I’d rather focus on the overflowing amount of positivity that’s going on.

That’s always the best part, to me, when someone is like, “I can do this, too.  I didn’t think I could, but I can.”  If me dealing with hate means someone feels like they’re worth it now, because they see the support that’s out there, then mission accomplished  :)  

I still don’t know how a fat baby is an insult, babies are cute!  If it was a crack based on intelligence, then… again, where’s the insult?  Babies are learning, growing, and developing all the time.  But we as people are, too.  We’re learning new things, improving our skills, I mean babies aren’t stupid and they’re cute, so…

I am so excited for Momocon!  A new con, in a new city, and the chance to meet so many amazing people.  When I saw Momocon on your list I actually cheered at my computer!  We are going to do all of the fun Disney cosplay together!  I’m going to be working my butt off that month because of Anime Central and Colossalcon being right after Momocon, but I’m so excited for all of it.  I know it’ll be amazing  :)
