OMG THE FIRST ONE! Hold on, I have a short idea:

Hello! And we’re reporting live from the scene of a terrible villain encounter. Pro heroes Deku and Ground Zero have arrived on the scene. It looks like they’re discussing a plan of some sort? Deku is known for strategizing before- wait, hold on, is Ground Zero blushing? He looks irritated about something, and Deku’s… pouting? Ladies and gentlemen, we’re not sure what’s going on, maybe we could get a closer look-

THEY KISSED!

Ladies and gentlemen, Ground Zero has pulled Deku into his arms and is kissing him before the battle! It’s very romantic, actually. Sources say the two have known each other since childhood, it looks like their relationship has developed more than we thought! Oh my, is that a classic Hollywood dip, Ground Zero? It looks like it is! How stylish! We’ll try and talk to the heroes post-battle.

(cut to after the battle)

REPORTER: Deku! Ground Zero! Can we have a moment?

DEKU, panting after the battle, outfit torn on the side and sweating, still manages to smile: SURE!

GROUND ZERO, looking annoyed, outfit mostly in tact: Oi…

REPORTER: First of all, good job defeating the villain! Were you worried?

DEKU: Not at all, not with Kacchan by my side!

REPORTER: Speaking of Kacchan, we saw the two of you share a pretty passionate kiss. Was that a “last goodbye” in case-

GROUND ZERO: Oh please, no one’s taking us down.

DEKU: Y-yeah, sorry to worry everyone. It’s because… well…

GROUND ZERO, muttering: This guy gets a power boost when we kiss…

REPORTER: Huh?!

DEKU, blushing: I just get so excited when Kacchan kisses me!

GROUND ZERO: Oi…

REPORTER: I-I see! Well, you heard it here, folks! Hero Deku’s powers are activated through true love’s first kiss!

GROUND ZERO: DID YOU HAVE TO WORD IT LIKE THAT?!

DEKU: Also, saying it’s the first is an understandment…

REPORTER: O-oh!

Also I do think Bakugou would wear something of Deku’s to battle, not sure if it would be a bracelet of blood or hair, but I think it’d be something :) Thanks for the ask!

And I know this ep was great for Baku development (bless) but it was also so heavy on Deku growth, like, he may have said yes to the fight for Baku but he also got to see how much he’s improved, too. Like yes, you ARE this fast now, you hit this hard, you keep them on their toes, kid. Your need to save is great but don’t forget: you got that fire, too.

And I dare say he needed that reminder.

Hey all! How about that Deku VS Kacchan 2, huh? I was trying to figure out if it would be possible to work that in this fic (since it’s quirkless Deku AU where he doesn’t go to UA) and after watching the episode I figured it out, so… HERE YOU GO! Yay I has a sad!

There’s also lots of alternate looks on canon moments, like what a quirkless Deku would think of Stain, what the All Might VS All For One battle looked like from Bakugou’s parents’ POV, things like that.
