I’m so dumb and so rude I completely forgot to say THANK YOU to every single one of you for being here. Seriously, at some point over 2,000 of you arrived here in some way, shape, or form, and that means the world to me. Thanks for sharing my pictures, sending me messages, liking my posts, laughing at my random fandom spazzings, and just… thanks for being here. I never imagined such a number associated with anything I did, so seeing it, and seeing three times that amount on my cosplay page, is just astonishing.
Work it girl you are gorgeous! Those who say otherwise, are way insecure of themselves. Make sure you put on your prettiest heels so you can stomp on those naysayers on your way to being your amazing self.

I can’t walk in heels I suck at it ;__; Can I wear tennis shoes or flats instead? I have some wicked cool tennis shoes with rainbow shoelaces…
So according to Gail Simone it’s Cosplay Appreciation Day! So here are some of my pics from this year. It’s been quite the year and we’ve gone to more cons than ever with our art, our books, and our costumes. It’s also been quite the year in spreading the message that cosplay is for everyone, and it’ll continue on into next year and years to come <3
Special thanks to my wifey (the Belle with the design on the front of the dress and pretty much the girl in every pic with me except for the group shot of Disney characters) for making these costumes and always being a supportive voice. Also thanks to all of the cool people I’ve met at all of these conventions and online through my cosplay page, I hope we all have just as much fun, or even more fun, next year. Thanks for all of the support in what I do, it means a lot to me :)
That “stop acting white” pisses me off. Keep doing what you’re doing, Ma’am.
What does “stop acting white” even mean? Anyway, whatever, those peeps are dumb. YOU, my lady, are awesome. And THANK YOU for the Wonder Woman outfit, the Princess Peach outfit, and the Princess Rini outfit because AWESOME!!
Thanks for the love <3 Actually I wanted to reblog to answer that question, because I’ve gotten it a lot ever since I made that meme.
“Stop acting white” is something that pretty much implies that, as a black person, if you’re acting any way other than “ghetto” “trifling” “no good” then you’re “acting white.” Essentially, the assumption is that black means ignorant, so if you convey yourself in a way that’s not the stereotypical black image, you’re not acting like yourself, you’re not “really black” and you’re trying to “act white,” because apparently, having some sense is exclusive to white people, according to the people who say things like this.
The most annoying thing about this is that I’ve heard this from both white people AND black people. And it’s been said over the most ridiculous things, from the way I talk (you “sound white”) to the things I’m into, just… take your pick. As many insults as I’ve heard in my 31 years on this planet, “stop acting white” is the most irritating.
I just followed you (then accidentally unfollowed and promptly refollowed) and you are fantastic. Love everything about your blog, your cosplay, and you :) So happy to see a cosplayer unapologetic for anything and keep rocking. Looking forward to mor

Thank you so much :)
I've chatted with you at Wisconsin cons and have visited your stand a lot and I just wanted to tell you I absolutely look up to you! I'm not very good at talking with people so I hope I don't come across as rude, but I really adore you! \(^-^)/

Awww, thank you so much! *hugs* I’ll be in Wisconsin a lot this year, I think. We’ll have a table at Anime Milwaukee in February, Kitsune Kon in March, and will be guests at No Brand Con in April, so hopefully, we see each other again :)
Con season is coming up so it’s time to plug in the woodburner and grab the paintbrushes! Progress pictures to final product of a Sailor Moon Crystal woodburning I just finished.
This is the story of a geeky anime/gaming gal by the name of Chibi. Please fasten your seat belts and prepare for... some sort of ride? Oh! I love to write, and I also love doing crafty things. I go to conventions with my partner and sell woodburned things, clocks, mirrors, and more! So expect to see those on here too :)
