Oh, it’s really easy :) Just share what you’re seeing. If there’s something you see today that you agree with, share it. That’s actually what my partner does (she’s white), she shares me, and others. When we had #28DaysOfBlackCosplay she showed her support by sharing black cosplayers, that’s it. And it definitely helped.
It’s not that we don’t want support from white people, trust me, we do, but sometimes people are upset when movements like this happen, because, “We should be equal this is separating us more because we’re focusing on one race.” But that race needs to be focused on, in a positive light, because of the terrible things that get said to them and the fact that some people in that race feel like they’re ugly and not worth it. Equality isn’t going to get anywhere if the race we want equality for feels like they’re worthless, so movements like “Blackout” is to show that, hey, you’re beautiful and worth it :)
