I’m so sad because the cartoon is actually quite funny but the game is so terrible :(

Knuckles being two crayons short of a full rainbow
Tails being THE GENIUS HE WAS ALWAYS MEANT TO BE
Amy Rose still being in love with Sonic but the narrative doesn’t make it the main point of their friendship!!!

I really, REALLY like this version of Amy. She’s more than the love crazy Sonic fangirl, they’re actually friends! I prefer that over the, “I finally found you, Sonic, I’m gonna make you marry me,” Amy.
Also, Tails is adorable, and more than the “I look up to Sonic/I can’t function without Sonic,” if anything, Sonic can’t function without him!
I also love Sonic’s dry humor, sometimes he just has these moments of “I’m so done with this” and “Sigh, fine Eggman, gonna destroy me, got it” and just… it’s so funny!
Why couldn’t the game be this charming?
