Oh my gooood. She could have said “What I said was completely and whole heartedly racist. It was inappropriate for me to say to begin with and racist towards Latinos. I would like to apologize to those of the latino community for being a racist piece of shit and I hope you all can forgive me”

How does one take responsibility for their words without apologizing for them? I mean there’s a lot of “I take responsibility” and “I fucked up” but where are the words that really matter? 

Where is the, “I’m sorry?”

Anybody watching that segment already knows that you fucked up. You don’t have to tell us. Taking responsibility doesn’t just mean admitting that you did something wrong, it also means APOLOGIZING for said wrong doing.
