Welcome to Magnolia Springs by @pearliegrimm - If you want something super fucking hilarious with a bit of drama, memes, and real talk this is the fanfic for you! Katsuki and Izuku are dads! It’s Dream Daddy meets a suburban nightmare and Katsuki ain’t here to play!

For the Sake of Peace by @mochius - Katsuki and Izuku are from warring kingdoms and decide to make a pact to fake a marriage in order to bring peace to their lands. It’s really funny and super cute! If you’re looking for something a little light hearted with life lessons, this is the fanfic for you!

Limerance by @wolf-fitz - Honestly, the soulmate AU of a lifetime. Bakugou and Deku are both soulmates but Bakugou is in complete denial about it. There are interesting as well as possibly devastating dynamics that arise from the denial of said bond. While Deku yearns to be part of a hero duo with Bakugou, the latter wants nothing to do with it. A really intense read, but 100% worth it. Rated Mature but I think mostly for violence and language.

Legend of Izuku: Ocarina of Time by @bokunobotanist - In need of a good Legend of Zelda x BNHA crossover? Well look no further! This fanfic follows the adventure of Bakugou in the retelling of the LoZ with Bakugou as the hero instead of Link and Izuku instead of Zelda. There is even lovely art drawn by the author herself!

A Hero Must Be Bold by @brick-kcirb - One of my favorites by a wonderful human being and friend. If you want to laugh for 17 chapters and counting, this is the fanfic for you. Bakugou and Deku awkwardly find ways to impress each other, trying desperately to convey their feelings. Meanwhile the squad (it’s just everyone) help them along as they fumble around. Mineta gets kicked out of UA at some point! So that’s also something to look forward to ahaha.

The Space Between by @kanaevr - A personal favorite by a dear friend who puts an incredible amount of work into this fanfiction. Bakugou is the frontman of a band and boy is he hot. At least that’s what Deku thinks when taking photographs of the Antiheroes during one of their performances. The story unfolds with vividly detailed concerts as Deku tries to become a freelance photographer while also trying to gain Bakugou’s interest.

Let Me Be With You by @colourlesszero - Another favorite by my wonderful friend Zero. A Chobits x BNHA crossover. Bakugou tests the durability of persocoms and Deku happens to be one of his test subjects. He thought the company was kidding when they said Deku was virtually indestructible. In the end, he ends up with a new persocom deathly afraid of him and has no clue how to deal with the situation. It’s actually a really cute fanfic!

Quiet Rapture by @atomicblonde - Okay, if yall heathens don’t know who Lala is by now, it’s safe to assume you have been living under a rock. Anyways, of course there will be at least one of her fanfics mentioned on this list. This is one of my favorites because the A/B/O dynamics are really interesting and also very cute. Bakugou is utterly obsessed with Deku who happens to be an Omega who lost his sense of smell. While Bakugou is inhaling Deku’s intoxicating scent, Deku can’t smell a damn thing from Bakugou. If you couldn’t tell, Bakugou is an Alpha in this.

Never Too Old to Learn by iknewaman - I really like cute omegaverse fanfics. This one has Bakugou as the Alpha and Deku as the Omega but Bakugou honestly has no damn clue how all this shit works. In fact, when hestarts giving Deku his clothes for his nest, he doesn’t realize he is basically telling Deku he’s interested. It’s a super cute short fanfic.

Before Midnight by @driftingglass - A bakudeku rec list would not be complete without a Drifting fanfic. If you want crazy drama, insane action, and just a fanfic keeping you on the edge of your seat, this is the fanfic for you. Bakugou and his family are painted in a bad light but Izuku has no clue and becomes enamored by this brooding stranger with piercing crimson eyes on the train. They must be home before midnight or face the wrath of those patrolling the districts. It is beautifully written.

Rehabilitation by @inkspillsnotebook - An honest tear-jerker right from the beginning. Be prepared to get hit hard in the feels by this wonderfully written fanfiction. It is moving, inspiring, and heart breaking. Bakugou is severely injured during a fight after being ambushed by villians. He is hospitalized and his husband, Izuku, must learn to cope with the fact things will never be the same. Rehabilitation is a long process and it is agonizing for the patient and the loved ones, especially those closest to you.

Gravity by @pro-derp - Another incredible omegaverse fanfic by the wonderful and notorious Warschach. Another writer that must be included on the bakudeku rec list. Izuku returns back to his hometown and finds the asshole Alpha, Bakugou, had returned as well. He’s hot, of fucking course, and Izuku must wrestle with developing feelings while watching his old bully jogging shirtless up and down the damn street! Oh, did I mention Bakugou is an MMA fighter? Badass!

Beyond Sea and Storm by @celestialgunfireopera - Bakugou is prepared to conquer Izuku’s Kingdom when his father offers Bakugou a proposition: if he can present Bakugou’s mate to him, then he will cease the invasion. Bakugou takes him up on what appears to be a bluff  but when Izuku stumbles into the room, everything stops when he lays eyes on the baffled green haired man. This is a really interesting story with lots of world building and great character dynamics! Kay created something spectacular for us.
