2. Did you think Midoriya would be a good protagonist?

Yep! Loved him immediately. I admit I was initially worried when he got his quirk because I thought the series would forget his strategizing, mumbling, note taking, and things like that. I’m so happy that stays, that he uses his brain (and frankly needs to cuz rushing in and breaking himself doesn’t work)

Red: What do you like most about your favorite ship?

BAKUDEKU! It’s really an interesting take on the rival trope. This whole “they were friends, now it’s strained, but they’re still tied to each other” is so great to me. I (again) was worried it’d do the SasuNaru “rival goes off the deep end and is now an actual enemy” thing but Bakugou IS SET on being a hero, and deep down is a good person and understands things better than folks give him credit for (ie: Uraraka fight). He also isn’t as wreckless either (ie: Calvary battle and quickly coming up with a plan). And Deku sees that, has seen that since he was a kid. And now it’s Baku’s turn to see Deku and… their dynamic is great!

Yellow: Favorite fanfic of your ship?

I have A LOT so I’m just gonna mention the writer whose fics inspired me to write my own: @atomicblonde

Rock: The doctor/League of Villains theory?

I hadn’t heard it until now, that’s interesting! I’m torn because I kinda like Deku’s dad just being away or whatever and it not being a deeper plot? But it’d be interesting if the doctor was involved with All For One somehow.

12: Most underrated student?

Ojiro, I wanna see more of him, we missed him in the sports festival.

14. Most unique quirk?

Bakugou, actually, and the way he uses it is brilliant to me. Propelling himself around, grenades to store up sweat, I really like it.

20. Which student could become a villain?

I think the group that had to deal with Stain. Like I think one of them could reach a point where the line between what is and isn’t heroic gets really messy. I don’t think it’ll happen, though, but I do like the Villain!Deku takes. (Also I think if the Dabi theory is correct Todoroki’s gonna have some issues)

Metal: Which villain quirk would you want?

Shigaraki, actually.

Pinnacle: What do you like most about BNHA?

That it’s doing the OPPOSITE of the heroic self-sacrifice, like no, you cannot jump in and throw your life away for the sake of others, even if there’s a cure-all character RIGHT THERE! That Deku has this god-power and can’t just use it whenever, he has to learn, and grow, and get creative and rely on himself, not just the quirk.
