So for Deku and Kacchan’s first date!

It’s a fucking disaster.

Deku would go out the way for Bakugou - while nervous and absolutely wanting to make it perfect! He’s the type of guy to be a bit outgoing - happy but skittish. What if he makes a mistake? What if he does it wrong?? He has to make it perfect! Deku would make it unforgettable. He’ll plan a huge outting at a restaurant. Buy balloons or buy something fancy for their first date.

Kacchan, however, will see it as competition. He’ll make a better goddamn date and he’ll make sure that it’s one that Deku would never forget! He’ll give it his all too - getting a reservation, flowers, Deku’s favorite candy or something.

And no. They probably won’t even communicate. Wanting it to be a surprise to the other to the point where on the day of the date - just to see the others expression of shock? Joy? Something excited…! They’re at each others door. Kacchan waits outside Deku’s dorm room, holding some chocolates or something - while Deku waits outside the blonde’s dorm room holding something symbolic like - Amaryllis. (Victory)

Hours pass.

They’re idiots.

Then the next day it’s like:

KACCHAN: You think you’re funny, huh nerd?

DEKU: There’s nothing funny about being stood up…

KACCHAN: Exactly!

DEKU: … Huh?
