sweet baby jesus.This raccoon never left the side of a cat who was dying of a tumor. The cat was comforted for the final hours of her life by her long time friend.
That last one. The raccoon gently petting the cat. The look on the cat’s face. The look on the raccoon’s face. The raccoon looks so sad, petting the cat with this look of, “I don’t want you to leave me, but I’ll be here with you and make you feel comfortable, because you shouldn’t be in pain when you go.” And the cat has her eyes closed like, “Thank you. That does feel nice. I feel like I can rest quietly next to you.”
Animals are so amazing, but wow, this is both sweet and sad to look at :(
