There’s something about the cold Inaba winter that makes the distance between them harder to handle; even the thumping bass of his music isn’t enough to drown out the fact that Souji just isn’t there.

Not going to lie, this was partially inspired by strangestquiet’s latest gorgeous fanart of these two.  Distance is hard to deal with whether it’s between friends or relationships, and winters can be especially lonely.  It’s been a while since I’ve done an extensive photo manip and since the shots were taken without a tripod this one was especially tricky.  

Whether you want to read this as a separated friendship or something more is up to you, but we were self-indulgent and took a second version that is a bit more pairingish, too.
