Right on schedule… sort of ^^;;; Not sure how NSFW this one is since it ended up being more serious than I intended? It’s a little NSFW at least.
Day 11: Dom/sub
Warnings: Spoilers for Christmas Eve event, a different take on that event, some Souji/Naoto (but Kanji/Naoto in the end), school girl uniforms and facing the truth about things
***
Naoto Shirogane is a dominant force to never take for granted. A detective by day, a gun firing shadow killer by night, it’s no wonder it takes him all the courage in the world to even approach her.
Though how it’s gotten to this point he’ll never, ever understand.
Sure he understood the finer points of her lonely little shadow, but that hasn’t stopped her from standing with all of them and taking on some of the biggest threats the team has ever faced. The shadows had never been as dangerous as they had been in Heaven and, later, Adachi’s hell. Naoto – still new to the groove of things – had summoned her persona just like the rest of them, fighting alongside them as if she had been there since day one.
It’s hard not to be impressed.
But he’s not that kind of guy.
Despite what rumors might tell you Souji Seta is not into stealing someone else’s girl. Granted, Naoto isn’t Kanji’s girl technically, but there’s no denying the feelings between them. Kanji wears his more obviously than Naoto, but Souji has mastered the fine art of watching the people around him. She cares for him, deeply, though Naoto is as stubborn as she is dominant and calculating in everything she does.
So Souji came up with a plan.
A plan that he now sees has completely blown up in his face.
When he made the suggestion about her being “girlier” he had fully expected her to snap at him, maybe call him a bunch of names, and shove him aside. She’d get the entire notion of being in love with him out of her system and go to the person she really needs to be with.
The person she actually wants to be with but is too stubborn to admit to.
Being with senpai is easy because he’s the guy everyone wants to be around. He’s charming – oh so charming – and he is one of the kindest people in the whole wide world.
Kanji, on the other hand…
But Souji knows that she sees the good qualities in him, has seen her smile at him while he wasn’t looking, has seen her hold onto him at times when she was hurt.
Yet somehow here she is on Christmas Eve, hat gone and skirt showing off legs that he didn’t even know she had.
How did this turn out so badly?!
The other hitch in his plan, he realizes, is that she looks really good in the uniform and he’s a teenage boy. Blushing and fidgeting, she does make a really pretty girl, though he knows that Naoto Shirogane is best when she isn’t unsure about herself.
But she certainly doesn’t seem to be unsure when she walks over and slides into his lap.
Fuck.
“N-Naoto, what are you-”
“I-it is Christmas Eve and… n-no one is home, so…”
Fuck. Fuck fuck fuck.
Souji’s really waiting for the more sensible part of himself to kick him and remind him that this isn’t a good idea. This isn’t even what he was trying to accomplish in the first place. But then she starts kissing him and her lips taste like the frosting from the cake they shared together. He doesn’t mean to kiss back, honest, and he certainly doesn’t mean for his tongue to find its way inside of her mouth. And he sure as hell doesn’t mean to react to her moaning against his lips but the way she’s squirming in his lap-
He needs to stop this or it’s going to turn into a disaster.
Unfortunately, Naoto has other plans, breaking the kiss to pull off her top. Shit, oh shit, light blue really is a color that suits her. And shit, oh shit, her breasts really are just as magnificent as Rise had made them out to be. She’s grabbing his hands now, placing them on her breasts, urging him to squeeze them and touch them in ways that boyfriends are supposed to.
Except he never intended to be her boyfriend. He only intended to be the one who pushed her in the right direction – towards Kanji.
But Naoto Shirogane is a dominant force, already working to take control of the situation. She’s arching her back and making these little sounds that Souji wishes wouldn’t sound so damn erotic. He wishes that her skin wasn’t so soft, that her breasts didn’t feel so good in his hands. And now she’s moving entirely too much in his lap, his pants becoming unbearably tight.
He’s moaning right along with her and he’s not sure how to stop.
With all of the friends he has you’d think one of them would call him, or something, to interrupt this moment. Instead his phone is silent, giving the lovers – no, no no! – some time alone – no no, he needs to stop he needs to stop! But then Naoto reaches behind her back and unhooks her bra, trembling as she bares herself to him.
It all spirals out of control from there.
The kisses are frantic and hot, Souji’s hands running over her naked back and around to her chest again. It’s not her hands guiding him this time, it’s his own passions and desires that urge him to tug at her nipples and make her start whining against his lips. At some point he’s not sitting up anymore, instead he’s laying back, Naoto on top of him. At some point she’s working at the zipper of his pants, panting harshly, eyes desperate to-
No.
The look in her eyes is what finally snaps him out of it. Desperate, pleading, she’s using him as an excuse to not face the truth – she’s absolutely in love with Kanji Tatsumi and it terrifies her.
He sits up and grabs her hand, stopping it from unzipping his pants.
“Senpai?”
“You don’t want to do this.”
She frowns and pulls her hand away, “Are you questioning my feelings for you?”
“Naoto, you don’t have feelings for me. Not like that.”
“H-how dare you! I-I… I love you!”
Souji sighs and stands up, grabbing her shirt from off the floor. There’s a part of him screaming at him not to, a part that wants this to keep going. It’s not so much for the sexual implications, but for the fact that Naoto Shirogane is actually one of the most amazing people he’s ever met.
But she’s not for him.
And honestly, when he lets himself think about it, he wouldn’t want her with anyone else but Kanji. The boy knows how to care for her, knows how to have her back while making her feel like they’re on equal ground. He’s the one who made her face her shadow, the one who was there for her about Nanako, fought by her side against Adachi.
It’s not supposed to be him. It’s supposed to be Kanji. And both he and Naoto know that.
“Not like that, Naoto,” Souji whispers, handing her her shirt, “You don’t love me like that. You love-”
“I do! I-I… I do! I did this for you, I wore this and I-”
“Naoto I said that stuff on purpose,” he says, and he feels like the biggest jerk on the planet when he sees the look on her face, “I was trying to push you away so you would finally go to him.”
“You… y-you were lying to me?”
“Damnit Naoto, just stop it! You don’t want to be with me you want to be with Kanji!”
“Kanji-kun?” She chuckles, “Why would I want to be with him?”
Souji frowns, “Don’t make it sound like there’s something wrong with him.”
“That is not it. You… you are perfect, you are perfect for me. He… he is… unpredictable, and… and loud, and he makes rash decisions.”
“And he loves you.”
“He… s-s-so what. So what! T-that does not mean that I-”
“How long? How long have you loved him?”
“I…” she looks down at the shirt in her lap, quietly tugging at it for a moment before she speaks again, “… he… he protected me… from my shadow. He said… he said that he was bad at making friends too and that it did not matter.”
“Yes, he did.”
“And he… with Nanako, and… he… he is always there.”
“He is. More than I could ever be,” it’s a hard thing to admit to but it’s the absolute truth.
“I do not like having such intense feelings. They make me feel weak. Submissive. And I… that is not who I am.”
Souji smiles and walks over, sitting next to her, “Naoto, it’s o.k. to submit sometimes.”
“That means I am weak.”
“No, it means that you are strong enough to admit when you should just give in.”
He likes to think, as she gets dressed, that she finally gets the message. She decides that it would be best to leave and he’s hoping that she goes to see Kanji, but he’s afraid that if he asks it would break whatever courage she has, “I… apologize for my actions just now,” she says.
“Huh? Oh… it’s fine, it’s my fault too. I was the one who came up with this plan, I just didn’t think you’d actually do it.”
“So you… don’t think I would be better if I were girlier?”
“It’s cute, but no,” Souji smiles, “This is going to sound pathetic, but it took me a long time to talk to you because I didn’t feel like I was strong enough to be on your level.”
Naoto’s eyes widen, “Really?”
“Yeah. Kanji’s really lucky,” he whispers.
“Did you… have feelings for me?”
“Saying ‘did’ implies past tense, Naoto.”
“O-oh.”
“Don’t worry about it,” he says.
“But-”
“I’m serious. I want you two to be together.”
“But what about your feelings?”
“I already told you what I want.”
Nothing else is said after that, Souji watching as Naoto leaves his room, listening as she steps out of the front door to head home.
Or to Kanji’s.
Hopefully to Kanji’s.
***
“N-Naoto?”
Naoto looks up at Kanji nervously, mentally calling herself all sorts of names for not changing out of the school uniform. The skirt makes her feel pathetic as she stands in front of him, but she knows if she doesn’t get this out now she’ll never get it out at all.
“I… I submit.”
“Excuse me?”
“I… I submit to you,” she whispers.
“W-what do ya mean 'submit?’”
“I-I…” she fidgets again, hands tugging at the end of the skirt.
“Why are ya wearin’ that anyway?”
“It… it is a long story.”
“Well ya look uncomfortable as shit. Go change or somethin.’”
Naoto looks up at Kanji in surprise and he quickly looks away, his cheeks growing a familiar shade of red.
“Kanji-kun?”
“Y-yeah?”
Naoto smiles and reaches over, taking his hand, “I love you.”
***
“So how did it go?”
“That had to be the worst plan I have ever come up with.”
There’s a laugh on the other end of the phone then, “I told ya.”
“Yeah yeah. She at least gets it now, I hope.”
“So I guess that means you’re spending Christmas Eve alone.”
“Guess so.” There’s a moment of silence before Souji speaks again, “Well… I mean, I do have plenty of cake left. She brought it over and it’s pretty good.”
“Is that an invitation?”
“Do you want it to be?”
“… yeah, I think I do.”
And as Souji hangs up the phone he can’t seem to get rid of the smile on his face.

Notes: Because I fully believe in the concept of Kanji needing to come up SOMEHOW if you date Naoto, and I don’t know about everyone else, but when I first played I was hoping there would be some way for me to push her towards Kanji (or push Kanji towards her). Also, you can fill in the blank on who the person talking to Souji in the end is, I just didn’t want to leave him alone :)
The next couple of prompts on the challenge won’t be nearly as deep and sappy, I think, unless if I can make a 69 sappy somehow, lol!

I absolutely love this. I always enjoy hearing Hero’s perspective on KanNao - I mean, of course Naoto would be a great...
