This does bring up an interesting headcanon.

Dealing with male pursuers for Naoto’s love has to be easy.  I mean, it’s Kanji, and he could use his intimidating appearance and reputation to scare them off.  But girls?  How would he even deal with that?  He’s not that great at talking to them, and he isn’t going to yell at them to scare them off.

So how would that even go down?  Especially since girls can be pretty viscous   

“P-p-please… um… stop sending her letters.”

“Why?  You expect me to believe that ridiculous rumor about the two of you being together?”

“W-we are together!”

“Yeah right,” and then she laughs and walks off.

And going to the others certainly wouldn’t help.  Like could you imagine him and Yosuke talking about it?

“She got another letter, dude.”

“She did?”  Then Yosuke would smirk, “From a giiiiirl?”

“Lay off, asshole.”

“I wonder which girl it is, I hope it’s a cute one.”

Then Teddie would chime in with, “A shy, young school girl shyly places her letter into Nao-chan’s locker.  But Nao-chan catches her in the act!  The girl blushes, trying to turn away, but Nao-chan gently takes her hand.  She assures her that her affections are all right, in fact, they are very much returned.  The school girl is surprised as Nao-chan pulls her into her arms and-”

“Shut the fuck up, bear!”  The Kanji would say.
