Oh man this should be interesting, I wasn’t really in the fandom game back in the day…

1. The first character I first fell in love with

Auron, he just… he was so cool!  

2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now

Uh… hmmm… I actually didn’t mind Rikku and I thought I would.  And Yuna.  I don’t tend to gravitate towards the “healer” girls, but I really liked her – and I maxed her out so she was the strongest character I had, even stronger than Auron!

3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t

Urm… I… o.k. it’s not that I hated Wakka, I thought he was fun, but I never used him.  I never ever got his ultimate weapon because I hated blitz ball.  I tried, and I just never got the hang of it.

4. The character I love that everyone else hates

I actually don’t remember disliking Tidus that much back when I played.  After seeing some clips, yeah, he’s a bit annoying… but I don’t remember hating him.  He certainly wasn’t my favorite Final Fantasy main character, but he kinda grew on me?  By the end of the game I was sad to see him go.

5. The character I used to love but don’t any longer

No answer, since I haven’t played the game in yeeeeeears.

6. The character I would totally smooch

Lulu.  I… yeah she’s hot *blush*

7. The character I’d want to be like

I think I might pick Yuna for this, mostly because she had this path she was supposed to take, took a chance and did something different.  That’s not the easiest thing to do, especially when it’s a “path you were destined for” for god knows how long.  I kind of like the characters that have this sort of doomed destiny and they think they’re o.k. with it, but in reality, they’re not, and they need something to show them that they’re not.  Maybe that’s why I didn’t mind Tidus?  If nothing else, he showed her that. 

8. The character I’d slap

Seymour.  Just… even when I first saw him he screamed to me “I’m the bad guy,” and just… obvious bad guy characters are not my favorite, I like being surprised (i.e. Adachi from Persona 4, and even then… is he really a villain?)

9. A pairing that I love

I didn’t really have one.  I liked Tidus and Yuna and I was sad when it was broken up in the end, but I didn’t go out looking for fanart and fics and things.  I do remember seeing some really hot fanart of Tidus’ dad and Yuna’s dad, I think?  

10. A pairing that I despise

Wasn’t really in the fandom so I couldn’t really tell you.  I guess Seymour and Yuna because just… no.  She wasn’t into him at all, though I did like that part where he kissed her and she balled her fist up, like, “Bitch I am going to break your nose.”
