GUPPY!

I actually forgot that quickly that I posted that letters thing, lol.

G:  Sexual Orientation

Oh boy, here we go!  Despite me being with a woman for the past 11 years, I technically consider myself to be bisexual.  You see, I still do find men attractive, and I sincerely believe that if my partner were male, we’d be together, because gender really doesn’t matter to me, it’s the connection with a person that does.  I just so happened to connect to a woman  :)

U.  Where you want to be right now.

At home writing or crafting — probably crafting because Anime Detour is in a month and a half and I have commissions to work on.

P.  Why I hate school.

I’m not in school anymore, but when I was in school I actually didn’t hate it at all.  In high school, I was a giant geek, like… mathematically.  Not a lot of people know this, but in classes like Algebra and stuff I rocked.  I did so well in one class, that the teacher told me that I could actually get a D on the final and still get an A out of the class.

I got a B on the final, B+ actually.

But anyhow, I really liked school.  I wasn’t super popular and was that nerd who watched DBZ, but as much as I say that looking back… I didn’t get picked on too much for it?  Not to the level that kids do NOW, that’s for damn sure.  And college?  College was great!  College is where I actually, you know, opened up more about who I was.  I sort of started to wear my geek badge with pride and made a lot of great friends (and met my partner).

The only bad memories I have are from like, the very groups that were supposed to be supportive?  Like, I didn’t fit in with the black groups at all, like, not even close, and that’s fine, but I feel like people expected all of us to be bffs (went to a predominantly white school) and instead I was closer to like, my two Asian roommates, my kinda quiet black roommate, and the geeks I’d meet at conventions, or at an anime club or something.

P.  See above  :)

Y.  Do you want to go to college?

Already did, graduated with a B.A. in English and Women’s Studies.  Even tried going to grad school, but didn’t get in.  It’s fine though, my writing has come a long way thanks to the Creative Writing classes I took and fanfiction.  Yep.  Fanfiction.  Writing fanfics all the time, getting reviews, tuning up my style and whatnot?  It was like having another Creative Writing class  :)
