ace attorney is hilarious because before playing it you’re like “wth how can a game about LAWYERS be fun??” and after playing it you’re like

brichibi

Actually this is also my logic for Persona4.  Yes the story, the characters, and the dungeon crawling is great but there’s so much time where I’m like, “Oh man oh man do I go to basketball practice or go spend a long while with Kanji argh!  Or crap should I do my part-time job, or read, or make those paper cranes.  Oh god the paper cranes!”  For all the time spent on the parts that are expected to be fun, I spent so much time doing random things that should be boring.

“How far did you get in Persona 4 today?”

“Well… I’m at the part where I have to decide between band or drama…”

“So you can sit there and figure out which personas to fuse, which weapons to use, who to bring in battle to level up… and THIS is what you’re stuck on?!”

“It’s very important o.k.?!"

I mean, somehow, they made an rpg/dating sim/pokemon game work.  Normally I wouldn’t bother but, honestly, the most difficult parts were right at lunch when like five people walk over, wanting to hang out, and I’m like, "SHIT WHAT DO I DO?!”
