This is not o.k.  This is never o.k.  You don’t fucking HIT a cosplayer (or anyone, for that matter), even if you think it’s “in character” for your character to fight the other character.  Just no.  I hope something is done about this.  This is like another take on “cosplay is not consent.”  If you’re cosplaying someone, and you see another cosplayer who your character would dislike, or fight, or whatever, that DOES NOT give you the RIGHT to attack the person.  Absolutely not.  No.
