What separates Eren Jaegar from the usual “Angry, Excited Shonen Protag" is the fact that Eren is a murderous, raging psychopath.

Actually that was my thought process when I saw that episode, like… wow, this kid just killed two guys, and his dad was like, “… I told you to stay put silly boy,” and he was like, “But dad they were hurting the girl and that’s not right,” and he was like, “Oh ok well the girl can live with us mom is making meatloaf o.k.?”
