maybe evil spirits are so pissed off because ppl are always trying to get rid of them like can you imagine being that one clumsy ghost that just wanted to chill but you knocked over a lamp and now suddenly everyone wants you exorcised
Good point. Like imagine a family moving into the house you’ve been alone in for years. And you’re like, “Eh you know what whatever, they can’t see me it’ll be fine,” but you decide that around midnight you really want some ice cream, and since everyone is asleep you think it’s fine, but that ONE LIGHT SLEEPER hears you and freaks out.
Then they start doing all of these things to get rid of you, but… all you wanted was some ice cream :(
