Tatsuya and Jun has more than just a "gay couple". They have a strong history. Jun live in an abusive household and Tatsuya was the only one there for him when they were kids. Since Jun's mother abuses him a lot and his dad was implied dead. If Tatsuya picked Jun as a lover; they'll flirt each other and Jun will uses flowers analogy of his love to Tatsuya.

Oh wow, so there’s actually a relationship between them even if you don’t go that route, that’s pretty great.  It’s also great that you can take that step  :)  I really want to play a Persona game where you can date, well, anyone.  I feel like the dating system improves each game.  Like in P4, you can choose not to date someone (because in P3 didn’t you essentially have to if it got too far there was no option?) or you can choose to date everyone.  I hope in P5 it extends to both genders, not just because I’m in the GLBT community or have been into yaoi since I was 16, but because I feel like it was almost there with some social links?  Like if P4 had a GLBT option and someone was like, “Oh I dated Kanji,” or, “Oh I dated Yosuke,” I’d be like, “Oh yeah I can see that.”

Actually, I also hope that in P5 you can hook up your friends?  Like I really, really wanted an option to tell Kanji to go talk to Naoto, or how I played and couldn’t make myself date Chie or Yukiko because I shipped them  ^^;;;
