I’m in an interracial relationship, actually!  I’m black and my wifey is white.  It’s best not to worry about what other people will say and just do what you want.  The love is what matters  <3  I do understand your concern, it’s something I thought about too.  I grew up in Chicago which was like, 99.9% black, so when I met this white girl and fell for her there was a part of me like, “OMG this is a girl AND she’s white omg omg omg.”  But it’s been great  <3  And honestly, the people who could possibly give us hate aren’t people I’m concerned with.  My friends and family love her, because they got to know her, and that’s what’s key to me.  Don’t hate until you know the person  :)

Actually it’s really fun, as odd as that sounds, because we both have different backgrounds and different stories.  Even over simple things, like hair.  Don’t get me started about hair.  Like, my hair is so different, SO DIFFERENT, and I have so many stories and she’s like, “… uuuuurm…"
