And this is another thing I love about the series.  It’s easy to forget that the sort of “jokester” characters are actually, legitimately, good at what they do (Sasha comes to mind, or Hanji being “the crazy one,” or Connie, and things like that).  Like, they’re in this too, and they’re good at it  <3  I mean of course the likes of Levi and things are good, but don’t forget these other characters.  When they fight they’re serious and are quick thinking, even if they’re funny off the battlefield or scared as they approach a situation.

I like that the series doesn’t forget the other characters.  Yes there’s Eren, Mikasa, and Armin, but I like that everyone gets a moment and that they’re part of the team.  Like we can joke about Jean’s one-sided relationship with Mikasa, or his arguments with Eren.  We can even get more serious and cry over him and Marco (friendship or beyond), but at the end of the day Jean is a soldier in this war, and when he gets these moments in the series they’re fantastic  <3
