Even if they’re moving at a glacial pace, be nice to them. Ask how they’re doing. They’ve probably been on their feet without a break for the past six hours so please try and remember that. They probably haven’t had any nice interactions with people the entire day so be that one beacon of humanity that tells them you appreciate their help.
Especially with stores being open on Thanksgiving now :(
