That moment when your old college Women’s Studies Department emails you and says they want to give you an award for your accomplishments.

My actual response: OMFG!!! 

Thankfully the email came from my old academic adviser so using my actual response of EEE won’t seem weird :)

This is the information on the WGS Alumni Award:

Given to a WS alumnus who has excelled in his/her profession, made outstanding contributions to women’s and gender studies issues/human welfare and/or provided service to their communities.

So we’ll be going to my college on April 25th  :)  I haven’t been back at Iowa State for years, so this’ll be fun!
