A collection of me, my cosplay, my make up, clothes, just snippets of 2014.
This year has been quite the adventure. I traveled more than I ever have in my life. I met so many amazing people. I got my books and my crafts out there. I spoke up more than I ever have before about a variety of topics. It’s just been amazing.
To be honest, I never, ever expected to have fans, or be asked to be a guest anywhere, or anything like that. I never imagined having people who want to meet me, and who look up to me. All of you are so incredible, and are so important to me. Thank you all so much for supporting me and everything I do. I love you all <3
And, as always, if you take any cosplay message from me, it’s this: to love your cosplay is to love yourself. It’s so important to love yourself. There may be negative people out there, and what they say can, and does, hurt. But don’t let them stop you. Don’t let them keep you down. Don’t let them define who you are. YOU define who you are. You decide who you are. You hold your life in your hands and you have the power to make the very best out of it.
I believe in you :) Let’s have a great 2015!
Another list I did for WatchMojo is up! Top 10 Worst Games of 2014. Man… this year was pretty brutal, huh?
ANNOUNCEMENT! We got confirmed for our table at Anime Central, so I’ll be at ACEN next year <3
So here is a list of for sure conventions next year, and ones I want to try to go to (it depends on Artist Alley, but a few of these don’t have their page up yet)
Confirmed: 1. Anime Detour (here in Minnesota) 2. Anime Central (Illinois) 3. CONvergence (here in Minnesota, we just want to go to this one so we won’t have a table or anything)
Sent request for: 1. Colossalcon (in Ohio) 2. No Brand Con (in Wisconsin)
Will be trying for (and these are what I call the crazy ones since it requires a loooooot of driving): 1. San Japan (Texas, ironically it’s my birthday weekend) 2. Anime Iowa (it depends on what happens with the Texas con) 3. Otakon (Baltimore) or Otakuthon (Canada) – they’re both the same month and there’s no way we can do both I think, so it depends 4. Geek.kon (it depends on what happens with Otakon and stuff) 5. AWA (Atlanta) 6. Youmacon (Michigan) 7. Daishocon (Wisconsin, I think we just want to go back for fun and not for table)
I think that’s my list. It’s pretty… crazy, but with us having our book out and wanting to get it out there more along with artist alley stuff and cosplay, we’ve decided to try. This is almost a con a month starting in April, but this is inching us towards our dreams, because we want our book and everything else to be what we can focus on from now on
If anyone is planning on attending these cons and you see that the website is up (because some of them aren’t up yet), let me know so I can start looking into artist alley as soon as possible :)
This is the story of a geeky anime/gaming gal by the name of Chibi. Please fasten your seat belts and prepare for... some sort of ride? Oh! I love to write, and I also love doing crafty things. I go to conventions with my partner and sell woodburned things, clocks, mirrors, and more! So expect to see those on here too :)
