I just really loved this, it’s short and sweet, and much to my delight, I could actually read most of it! I just had to look up a few kanji I didn’t know. I wanted to do this to share the adorableness and practice my Japanese, because this is what I’d like to do someday c:

If you know Japanese and have criticism, PLEASE CRITICIZE ME. CONSTRUCTIVELY. I feel like I got the point across, but I know it’s not perfect. Also, if I overstepped some boundary in doing this, let me know.

Notes:

• Since it wouldn’t fit in these tiny little bubbles In keeping with the English version of the game, I went with “big sis” instead of writing out neechan/Naoto-neechan even though I think it sounds really awkward and unnatural in English.
• fun fact: when Nanako says “All done!” another translation for her original line is “all melted” and all I could think was Nanako running around setting things on fire while maniacally singing EVERYDAYS GREAT AT YOUR JUNES
• じー is kind of the sound of stunned silence, which doesn’t really have an English equivalent? Going “Whoa…” under your breath is something that works in this context.
• I FEEL SO LAME FOR LEAVING THE LAST PAGE LIKE THAT. I just don’t know most of those kanji, and can’t make them out well enough to even look up. Basically, Naoto is just quoting lines from Loveline.

Finished the Nanako and Kanji commission! Apologies, I’m not very good at costume design. The request was Kanji being his usual, talented self and helping put together a princess dress for Nanako.

Headcanon accepted!  I love Kanji and Nanako things like this  :)

I love this explanation, because I agree wholeheartedly.  When this happened in the anime I was like, “OMG NAOTO!  YES ENCOURAGE THE YOUNG DETECTIVE!”  

I even wrote a headcanon about it, sort of  ^^;;;

God, I love my little sister so much :)

She always sees me sewing my costumes and asks me over and over again, ever so sweetly, if i will make her one. Well, this time I got the fabric and JK Cosplay made the dress for her in about an hour.

She had a BLAST being Nanako. She’s such a ham in front of the camera, too!

Oh.  My.  God.  *feels heart melt into a puddle on the floor*  Whelp, that’s it, I’m dead.  Can’t go to work tomorrow.  Thanks a lot.

First of all, thank you to everyone who keeps reading what I write!  It’s greatly appreciated  :)  I never thought I would write so many headcanons/fics for Kanji/Naoto and Persona 4 in general, but apparently, I have.

So I’ve organized them all here!

It’s predominantly Kanji and Naoto (some worksafe, some not) but there’s also other pairings too.  Everything is separated by category, including other fandoms (still putting that list together since most of that is actually on lj ^^;;;)

Taking a child to a con: you’re doing it right.

After talking with krisrix I got a headcanon thing in mind, but it totally morphed into something else.  I might try and write the other idea I discussed with her, but this one just came to mind. 

Warnings:  Angst, spoilers to November/December stuffs and parts of the Persona 4 anime.  Since the anime had moments where Naoto and Nanako grew a sort of bond I wondered, how would Naoto take the terrible news that happens in those winter months?
