The Inner Workings of a Chibi.

I’ve been woodburning for like… two years now, I think?  I saw some really ridiculous amazing burnings at a convention once and one day, while on the way to the craft store, I thought, “I wonder if they have a woodburner.”  I figured that the method had to be something like, sketching the image then just burning it on there.  Over the years I started figuring out ways to do shading, how to make it darker or lighter depending on how much pressure I was applying, stuff like that.

Come to find out there’s burners you can buy with settings that change the heat, lol!  ^^;;;

I’ve been woodburning all day, I figured I would show off some of the new things I’ve made. It’s time for Persona tarot cards! I’m not sure if I’ll get through ALL of the arcana (especially since some of the designs intimidate me), but I’ll do my...

I’ve been woodburning all day, I figured I would show off some of the new things I’ve made.  It’s time for Persona tarot cards!  I’m not sure if I’ll get through ALL of the arcana (especially since some of the designs intimidate me), but I’ll do my best!

Here we have the Fool, the Magician, and the Emperor.  Sometimes, I paint parts of my woodburnings, but I’m not going to do that at all with these and sort of let the shading and the wood speak for itself?

As always, I do take commissions on my work, feel free to check out the places listed below or send me a note on tumblr.

So my partner, the ridiculously talented snowtigra, has told me that I can pimp her mini plushies out more.

SO I AM!

Mwuhahahaha!

Anyhow  ^^  These are the personas she’s made.  She’s made the entire Investigation Team from P4 too, but I wanted to show off the actual personas because they’re so cute to me and so fun and I want her to make more  ^^

She’s always taking commissions, from any series, be it anime, game, cartoon, comic book, live action, whatever you want.  I just… post the Persona stuff because I have a problem I love Shin Megami Tensei too much I think it’s awesome ^^

As always, feel free to check out the shop here, or send one of us a message on our tumblrs  :)

O.K. So my partner snowtigra got a commission for a Thanatos plushie from Persona 3. Every time she gets a commission that I think would be complicated I think to myself, “How the hell is she going to make that?!”

Then… she comes upstairs to show me this.

Dear LORD he’s so adorable, isn’t it?

I’m pimping her out, because seriously, she can make ANY mini plushie you want.  I mean… LOOK AT THE LITTLE COFFINS!  I want to keep it but I CAN’T!

So guys, if you need a mini plushie, of any character, check out our shop here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/snowtigra?ref=si_shop she loves a challenge, so challenge her  :)

Naughty Headcanon

In which gender and sexuality debates of Kanji and Naoto are turned upside down, right-side up, and every which way they can be.  Behind a cut for naughty thoughts.  Guest appearances by other Persona characters, too.

Here’s all of the Shin Megami Tensei things I’ve made, not necessarily for just Persona, but for the franchise as a whole.  From coasters, to mirrors, to clocks, I love making things from this franchise because I love the games so much.  If you’re ever at a con where SewnTogetherReflections is, you can be certain that there’s going to be something Shin Megami Tensei, Persona, Atlus, whatever  :)

And, as always, if you like the stuff you see here you can send me a note, or make a request at our shop here:  http://www.etsy.com/shop/snowtigra?ref=si_shop

Phew!  Here we go.  SewnTogetherReflections is headed to Geek.Kon this weekend.  If you’re there, feel free to stop by the table, we’ll have plenty of Persona related items.  Here is an example of the coasters I make (there’s a second part to the post coming).  Some of these are still available, some have sold, but you can always commissions use for your very own Persona woodburned coaster  :)

Question

Admittedly, I didn’t get too far with Elizabeth in P3.  I suck at doing certain fusions and all that, nor did I do New Game + or anything.  As I play P4 Arena I wonder… is she this amusing and awesome in P3?  The things she says, and just… she’s just the best thing ever!  If she’s like this in P3, clearly, I need to boot that game back up!

Flute?  Flu?

Needed to show some Persona 3 love at our table at Anime Iowa since I had made so many Persona 4 things.  Similar to the Yasogami High clock I made a while ago (http://cutiechibi.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d56ber0) is this clock.  This is the first time I’ve painted letters on the outside of the clock, I debated on keeping it red but felt like I needed to do more  :)

As always, feel free to check out our shop, we’re constantly updating it these days since we have things leftover from the convention.  Unfortunately, this clock sold, but I can always make another one  :)  (http://www.etsy.com/shop/snowtigra?ref=si_shop)

Party pictures (well… of the food at least).  Tried to keep it Japanese themed because of Persona, so we had teriyaki spare ribs, curry, and rice krispie sushi  ^^  Also, here’s more pictures of the red velvet Teddie cake with the Kanji and Naoto cake topper I ordered  :)  The cake was beary, beary good!  Oh!  I also posted a picture of the Persona 3 artbook, because one of my friends came to the party and gave me that as my birthday gift.  It went a little something like…

Friend:  So I know you like Persona, but this is all I could find…

Me:  *digs in birthday bag and sees artbook*

Friend:  I hope it’s o.k.-

Me:  *SPAZZES*

Anyhow, it was a wonderful birthday.  There were no cosplayers, unfortunately, but we all ended up playing “Cards Against Humanity” which turned out to be, well, the worst best game ever known to man.
