So while this was being played at the conference my wifey and I were watching and this was the conversation:

Me: Oh it’s probably more FFXV.

Her: Ah.

Me: … wait, no… this looks familiar.

Her: Oh?

Me: I recognize this music… it’s… holy shit!

Her: Are they…?

Me: No! No, they’re not, they’ve pulled this shit before they are not!

Her: Hon, are you sure? Because…

Me: Shut up! They’re not!

Me: They can’t be!

Me: No way!!!

Trailer: REMAKE

Me: KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!

Her: Holy shit!

Me: They’re actually doing it!!!!!!!!!!

*Then Shenmue comes onto the screen*

Me: SON OF A BITCH MY CHILDHOOD!!!!!!!!!!

I was tagged by Jezzabellgem Cosplay, Props & Costuming to name 4 of my favorite cosplays that I’ve done. I’m actually going to do 6! Special thanks to my wonderful wifey SnowCosplays for making all of these cosplays for me

1. Queen Minnie: This is the first ballgown cosplay I did. I really want to do it again some day. The wifey and I are kind of hoping that she gets a new outfit for Kingdom Hearts 3, otherwise, this dress is really adorable

2. Princess Peach: This one has special meaning to me, because it was the first time (to my knowledge) that I was bashed in cosplay, and I responded in such a public way by writing that article and frying that chicken. It really started me on this “cosplay is for everyone” path

3. Princess Tiana: I wanted to do her originally for completely biased “omg a black Disney princess” reasons, but after seeing the movie I really fell in love with her with her “work hard for your dreams” message. That and I always get such a great reaction to her, I really love seeing kids’ eyes light up when they see me.

4. Neo Queen Serenity: Sailor Moon is one of those series where my love gets renewed every time I see something from it. In this case, it was asieybarbie’s fanart. It was a really great moment putting this on, because Sailor Moon is one of her favorites, so seeing her face when she saw me in it was really great.

5. Wonder Woman: Who doesn’t love Wonder Woman? She’s such a great symbol of strength and empowerment. I feel so strong when I wear this cosplay, and I swear when I do get bashed while I’m wearing it, my brain is like, “Whatever I look fabulous.” I usually feel like that regardless, but something about Wonder Woman just makes me feel confident, no matter what.

6. Freddy Fazbear: I love this cosplay because it’s fun being scary. It’s so different from what I usually do. Also special shout out to Brad Duct-Tape Hale for being an amazing Freddy.

Noctis: Can I leave my chair, it's been seven years already.
Square Enix: No.
 The chair chuckles as the handsome young man squirms in its embrace, "That's right," it whispers as the elegant music plays in the background, the soundtrack growing more exhausted by the second, "You are my prisoner.  You're not going anywhere."

I swear being excited about a Square Enix presentation these days is like being excited for a concert featuring your all-time favorite icon. The traffic on the way sucks, but it’ll be worth it. The opening act sucks, but it’ll be worth it. You paid way too much for a T-shirt but it’s worth it even if they spelled your icon’s name wrong, whatever, the show’s about to start!

Your idol comes on stage and instead of actually performing, they just stand there, showing you clips of a concert they did last year because man, THAT CONCERT was amazing, oh man remember that concert it was great! The best days of our lives! So you stand there and watch the same footage from last year instead of actually getting something new. At the end of the concert your icon is like, “Thanks for your support, be sure to check out my tour this summer, I promise there will be some sort of thing there!" Then they leave the stage.

Then, on your way out, someone steals your wallet, so you have no money or ID. You get to your car and it doesn’t start because it’s too cold outside. By the time you finally get it to start you have to sit and wait for the parking lot to clear out. On your way home, you get pulled over, and you don’t have your license because your wallet was stolen.

But the cop sympathizes, because he’s a fan of the same thing as you, so you cry together and discuss the times when said icon was legendary.

Sigh.

Just playing around with my new camera. Much better quality than a camera phone, whoo! And thanks to the SD Card reader I have, I can use my Chromebook to get the pictures off the memory card! I’m really excited about being able to take better pictures, especially of my crafts :) So have some random Geek Room pictures of my collection of things ^^

My babe snowtigra made more plushies, and I’m kinda in love with all of them. Two from Persona 3, one from Final Fantasy 6. Seriously, she needs more love for her plushies, because dear lord! And if it weren’t for her I wouldn’t be crafting as much as I do. She’s the “sewing” in “Sewn Together Reflections.”
