So I purchased Daily Megaten’s fanbook and requested Artist Black draw a picture of Naoto asking Yukari for an autograph and I have to share this adorable picture with you all.
This better happen in Persona 4 Arena 2 or I’m going to be very upset.
Since everyone seems to like the woodburned tarot cards (thanks for the love btw!), I thought it would be cool to show the starting point. I sketch the image on the wood with a pencil before burning it, so it basically… looks pretty plain ^^;;;
I’ve been woodburning for like… two years now, I think? I saw some really ridiculous amazing burnings at a convention once and one day, while on the way to the craft store, I thought, “I wonder if they have a woodburner.” I figured that the method had to be something like, sketching the image then just burning it on there. Over the years I started figuring out ways to do shading, how to make it darker or lighter depending on how much pressure I was applying, stuff like that.
Come to find out there’s burners you can buy with settings that change the heat, lol! ^^;;;
